Within Ram's revealed form, Kausalya sees uncountable suns, moons, Shivas, and Brahmas. Mountains, rivers, oceans, earths, and forests appear without end. Time, action, guna, knowledge, and nature unfold in ways no being had seen or heard.

Maya stands there in all her profound forms with palms joined and body filled with fear. Kausalya beholds the power that makes every soul dance, and beside it the devotion that frees those souls from the dance.

Joy thrills through her, but speech fails. She closes her eyes and bows at Ram's feet. Seeing his mother overwhelmed, the demon slayer becomes an infant again, consoles her, and asks that the revelation remain unspoken.

Maya trembles with joined hands while the infant Lord returns to his mother's cradle.

Read the passage from the Manas

Countless suns, countless moons, Shivas and Brahmas beyond number. Mountains, rivers, oceans, earths, and forests in endless array. Time, karma, the three gunas, jnana, and the very nature of all things: she beheld even what had never before been heard of.
