When the full account reaches Shankara, wrath takes form as Virabhadra. The fierce warrior descends upon Daksha's yajna and completes its destruction, giving each participant the consequence attached to the insult they allowed.

Daksha's fate becomes known throughout the worlds. Yet destruction is not the final movement. Divine order will be restored, the sacrifice completed, and the ordained portions returned. Tulsidas passes briefly over the familiar history and turns toward the boon hidden inside Sati's last remembrance.

At death she asked Hari for unwavering love at Shiva's feet in birth after birth. The prayer carries her to the house of Himavan, where she takes form again as Parvati. From the moment Uma enters the mountain home, powers and prosperity spread across it, and sages establish radiant hermitages upon the snow peaks.

Beyond the ruined altar, Sati's final prayer rises again as Parvati in the house of snow.

Read the passage from the Manas

Shankara received all the tidings. In fury he dispatched Virabhadra, who went forth and laid waste to the yajna. Then all the gods received their rightful share of the sacrifice.
