Before a wise friend and noble master, too much speech can become another form of mistrust. Bharata has opened every chamber of his heart and now recognizes the moment to stop.
Rama already knows the need beneath the words. He has received the grief, corrected the misunderstanding, and set Bharata's honor upright before both kingdoms.
Nothing remains but command. Bharata asks the Lord to speak the service that should follow from all this love. Prayer turns from explanation toward obedience, and the servant who crossed the forest to alter Rama's course becomes ready to have his own course wholly determined by Rama.
When confession has emptied itself, Bharata leaves one quiet space before Rama: the place where command can enter.

सुह्रद सुजान सुसाहिबहि बहुत कहब बड़ि खोरि। आयसु देइअ देव अब सबइ सुधारी मोरि।।300।।
To speak at length before a wise, loving friend and noble master is itself a great fault. Now please give Your command, O Lord, for You have already set right all my affairs.
