Guha Measures His Smallness against the Lord's Greatness

Guha looks first at his own conduct and lineage. Nothing in that personal account could explain the honor now surrounding him or the embrace he has received.
Then he turns inward toward the Lord's greatness, and the scale changes completely. What appeared impossible from the side of merit becomes natural from the side of Ram's grace.
The contrast does not end in self-contempt. It becomes astonishment that anyone, seeing such mercy, could refuse the feet of Raghubir. Guha declares that the person who does not worship there has been cheated by fate itself. His humility is therefore not a closed room of unworthiness. It is an open window through which the immeasurable glory of the Lord fills the whole world.
When Guha places his little account beside Ram's boundless grace, only wonder remains at anyone who would turn away.

समुझि मोरि करतूति कुलु प्रभु महिमा जियँ जोइ। जो न भजइ रघुबीर पद जग बिधि बंचित सोइ।।195।।
Considering my own deeds and my lineage, then reflecting on the Lord's mahima in my heart: whoever does not worship the feet of Raghuvira is truly cheated by Vidhi in this world.
