Guha watches the minister collapse inwardly and the horses strain against a road they do not wish to travel. His own sorrow rises again, but service asks him to see what the return journey requires.
He calls four of his most trustworthy attendants and places them beside the charioteer. Extra hands and steady companionship will help guide the distressed team toward Ayodhya.
The gesture extends Guha's care beyond Ram. Love for the Lord includes the wounded servant and animals left in separation. He cannot remove their grief, yet he refuses to leave them alone within it, sending part of his household to carry what consolation and practical aid the road will permit.
Unable to heal the empty chariot, Guha surrounds it with four faithful companions for the sorrowful road home.

Seeing the minister and the horses in such a state, the Nishada chief was overcome with sorrow. He called four of his most faithful servants and sent them along to accompany the charioteer.
