Ram stands with Sita and Lakshmana, all prepared for forest life. Garments, vessels, and the modest retinue of exile replace the consecration articles assembled that morning.
Before leaving, the three bow at the feet of Brahmins and guru. Departure begins beneath sacred authority and blessing.
Around them people lie unconscious in grief, yet Ram does not move secretly or in resentment. He takes leave through reverence, making the first step toward the wilderness an act of humility. The road waits beyond them. The court loses strength while the departing figures remain ordered around dharma.
Amid a court fallen senseless, three forest-bound heads bend steadily at the feet of wisdom.

सजि बन साजु समाजु सबु बनिता बंधु समेत। बंदि बिप्र गुर चरन प्रभु चले करि सबहि अचेत।।79।।
With his wife and brother, having prepared all the forest garb and retinue, the Lord bowed at the feet of the Brahmins and the Guru, and departed, leaving everyone unconscious.
