Sita addresses Ram as lord of her life, abode of compassion, beautiful giver of joy, and wise moon of Raghu's water lilies.
Without him, even heaven would become hell. Place does not carry its own happiness apart from the beloved presence through which Sita experiences it.
Palace and forest therefore reverse their ordinary meanings. Ayodhya without Ram is torment; wilderness beside him is blessed. Every golden surface goes dark. This is not blindness to circumstance but the clarity of a love whose centre is personal communion. Sita locates heaven where Ram stands.
For Sita, heaven is not a realm above but the place where Ram's presence illumines her life.

प्राननाथ करुनायतन सुंदर सुखद सुजान। तुम्ह बिनु रघुकुल कुमुद बिधु सुरपुर नरक समान।।64।।
O Lord of my life, O abode of compassion, O beautiful one, O giver of joy, O wise one, O moon who makes the water-lily of Raghu's line bloom: without You, even heaven would be like hell to me.
