Hearing Kol and Bhil women speak, men and women of Ayodhya look again at their own devotion. The voices society considered uncultivated reveal a sincerity before which the city must become humble.
Tulsi names the transforming agent as the grace of the jewel of Raghu's line. At its touch, even iron crosses over as gold. Grace does not merely polish what was already precious by worldly measure. It reveals divine radiance within material the world had dismissed.
Before the speech of Kol and Bhil women, Ayodhya sees Ram's grace performing its alchemy, carrying iron across as gold.

लागे सराहन भाग सब अनुराग बचन सुनावहीं। बोलनि मिलनि सिय राम चरन सनेहु लखि सुखु पावहीं।। नर नारि निदरहिं नेहु निज सुनि कोल भिल्लनि की गिरा। तुलसी कृपा रघुबंसमनि की लोह लै लौका तिरा।।
All began praising their fortune, speaking words overflowing with love. Witnessing the devotion at Sita and Rama's feet, men and women found deep joy in meeting and conversing. The people looked upon their own affection with wonder, hearing the heartfelt speech of the Kol and Bhil women. Tulsi declares: by the grace of the jewel of Raghu's line, even iron, at His touch, crosses over as gold.
