Mystic Powers Arrive to Serve Bharata

The offer troubles Bharata. The company is vast, the moment grave, and the hermitage simple. Yet he recognizes the weight of the sage's word, bows, joins his hands, and places the command upon his head. Obedience is his supreme duty.
Pleased, Bharadvaja summons pure disciples and attendants to honor the guests with forest food. They bow and depart joyfully, but the sage considers the greatness of the one who has arrived. Bharata should be worshipfully received as befits a deity.
At that thought, Riddhi, Siddhi, Anima, and the other mystic powers appear before him. They await only instruction. What Bharata feared would burden the hermitage becomes an occasion for hidden abundance to enter visible service.
Because Bharata obeys a simple invitation, the unseen powers of perfection gather quietly before Bharadvaja to prepare his welcome.

सुनि मुनि बचन भरत हिंय सोचू। भयउ कुअवसर कठिन सँकोचू।। जानि गरुइ गुर गिरा बहोरी। चरन बंदि बोले कर जोरी।। सिर धरि आयसु करिअ तुम्हारा। परम धरम यहु नाथ हमारा।। भरत बचन मुनिबर मन भाए। सुचि सेवक सिष निकट बोलाए।। चाहिए कीन्ह भरत पहुनाई। कंद मूल फल आनहु जाई।। भलेहीं नाथ कहि तिन्ह सिर नाए। प्रमुदित निज निज काज सिधाए।। मुनिहि सोच पाहुन बड़ नेवता। तसि पूजा चाहिअ जस देवता।। सुनि रिधि सिधि अनिमादिक आई। आयसु होइ सो करहिं गोसाई।।
Hearing the sage's words, Bharata's heart filled with worry. The difficult moment brought him great distress (sankochoo). Recognizing the weight of his guru's speech (gur giraa), he bowed at his feet and spoke with folded hands. Placing your command (aayasu) upon my head, I shall obey. This, O lord (naath), is our supreme dharma. Bharata's words pleased the great sage's heart. He summoned his pure (suchi) disciples and attendants. Bharata must be properly honored as our guest. Go and bring roots, fruits, and tubers (kand mool phal). Saying 'Very well, master (naath),' they bowed their heads and joyfully set about their tasks. The sage reflected on the greatness of his guest. Such worship (poojaa) should be offered as befits a deity (devataa). Hearing this, the divine powers, Riddhi and Siddhi and Animaa and all the rest, appeared and said: Whatever you command, O Gosaaeen, we shall fulfill.
