Bharadvaja sees Bharata's stainless fame as a new moon rising over the world. Servants of Raghubir become night lotuses and chakora birds, opening beneath its light and drinking its radiance.

This moon will never set or diminish. Kaikeyi's deed cannot become a Rahu dark enough to swallow it. Day and night it will comfort every being because it is filled with the nectar of Ram's perfect love, untouched by any imagined disrespect toward guru.

Bharata has made that nectar available upon earth for Ram's devotees to drink. Bharadvaja places the gift beside Bhagiratha bringing Ganga down from heaven and beside the immeasurable virtues of Dasharatha. Through the son's devotion, the father's lineage pours another sacred current into the world.

Beyond the reach of eclipse, Bharata's moon of fame pours Ram's love upon the night like an earthly Ganga of nectar.

Read the passage from the Manas

Your fame, dear son, is like a pure new moon, and we who serve Raghubara are the kumud lotus and the chakora bird that drink its light. This moon shall rise forever and never set; day by day it shall grow brighter across the sky of this world. All three worlds, like the chakravaka birds, shall love it dearly, and the sun of the Lord's glory shall never diminish its splendor. Day and night it shall bring comfort to every living soul; Kaikeyi's dark deeds, like Rahu, shall never eclipse it. Rama's perfect love overflows like nectar, untouched by any stain of disrespecting one's guru. Now let the devotees of Rama drink deep of that nectar, for you, Bharata, have made the divine ambrosia freely available upon this earth. King Bhagiratha brought the celestial Ganga down to the world, and the very remembrance of that act is a treasure-house of all blessings. Dasharatha's virtues cannot be fully told. What more can one say of him who has no equal in all creation?
