बनतें आइकै राजा राम भए भुआल। मुदित चौदह भुअन, सब सुख सुखी सब सब काल॥ १ ॥ मिटे कलुष-कलेस-कुलषन, कपट-कुपथ-कुचाल। गए दारिद, दोष दारुन, दंभ-दुरित-दुकाल॥ २ ॥ कामधुक महि, कामतरु तरु, उपल मनिगन लाल। नारि-नर तेहि समय सुकृती, भरे भाग सुभाल॥ ३ ॥ वरन-आश्रम-धरमरत, मन बचन वेष मराल। राम-सिय-सेवक-सनेही, साधु, सुमुख, रसाल॥ ४ ॥ राम-राज-समाज बरनत सिद्ध-सुर-दिगपाल। सुमिरि सो तुलसी अजहुँ हिय हरष होत बिसाल॥ ५ ॥
Returning from the forest, King Rāma became sovereign. The fourteen worlds rejoiced, and everyone was happy with every happiness at all times. (1) Sin, affliction, evil marks, deceit, false paths, and wicked conduct disappeared. Poverty, terrible faults, hypocrisy, vice, and famine were gone. (2) The earth became a wish-fulfilling cow, the trees wish-fulfilling trees, and stones became masses of gems and rubies. The women and men of that time were virtuous, blessed, and filled with good fortune. (3) Devoted to the duties of social order and life-stage, they were swan-pure in mind, speech, and dress. They served and loved Rāma and Sītā, lived saintly lives, wore pleasant faces, and spoke sweetly. (4) Siddhas, gods, and guardians of the directions describe the society of Rāma's realm. Tulsī says that even today, remembering it brings an immense joy to the heart. (5)
