“If I now receive the command, I shall wring the moon like a cloth, bring its nectar, and pour it upon his head. (1) Or I shall descend to the netherworld, crush the ranks of serpents, and bring the pool of nectar to earth. I shall pierce the cosmic shell, draw the sun outside, and immediately seal the opening with Rāhu. (2) I shall forcibly bring the gods’ physicians and only then call myself the Lord’s follower. I shall dash vile Death down like a mouse and wash away everyone’s sin. (3) By your grace alone and your own glory, I shall not delay in the least. Lord of Tulsī, give me whichever command pleases your heart.” (4)
