Mother, remain well until I bring Raghubīra here; endure this unbearable sorrow for ten more days. (1) We shall cross the ocean by drying it, filling it, or binding it with a bridge—we shall need no ship. In half a moment our mighty army will crush the demon host and seize the sinful ten-headed one alive. (2) You will see the widowed women of the enemy ranks streaming tears from their eyes, and beholding your Lord’s feet with his younger brother and army, you will attain supreme joy and auspiciousness. (3) Remember Laṅkā’s burning and accept the word of Rāma’s servant as true. Tulsī says that soon the gods will sing the Lord’s fair fame and everyone’s burning wildfire of sorrow will be extinguished. (4)
