रजायसु रामको जब पायो। गाल मेलि मुद्रिका, मुदित मन पबनपूत सिर नायो॥ १ ॥ भालुनाथ नल-नील साथ चले, बली बालिको जायो। फरकि सुअँग भए सगुन, कहत मानो मग मुद-मंगल छायो॥ २ ॥ देखि बिवर, सुधि पाइ गीधसों सबनि अपनो बलु मायो। सुमिरि राम, तकि तरकि तोयनिधि, लंक लूक-सो आयो॥ ३ ॥ खोजत घर घर, जनु दरिद्र-मनु फिरत लागि धन धायो। तुलसी सिय बिलोकि पुलक्यो तनु, भूरिभाग भयो भायो॥ ४ ॥
When the Son of the Wind received Rāma’s command, he placed the ring in his mouth, bowed his head, and rejoiced. (1) Jāmbavān, Nala, Nīla, and mighty Aṅgada went with him. Their limbs throbbed with auspicious signs, as though joy and good fortune had spread over the road. (2) After seeing the cavern and learning the news from the vulture, each displayed his strength. Remembering Rāma, Hanumān looked across and leapt over the ocean, reaching Laṅkā like a streak of fire. (3) He searched house after house like the mind of a poor man racing after wealth. Tulsīdāsa says that when he beheld Sītā, his body thrilled and he knew his immense good fortune. (4)
