Ayodhyākāṇḍa Song 8: Why Speak Such Harsh Words?

प्रिय निठुर बचन कहे कारन कवन? जानत हौ सबके मनकी गति, मृदुचित परम कृपालु, रवन!॥ १ ॥ प्राननाथ सुंदर सुजानमनि, दीनबंधु, जग-आरति-दवन। तुलसिदास प्रभु-पदसरोज तजि रहि हौं कहा करौंगी भवन?॥ २ ॥
