As lovely and charming as dear Lakṣmaṇa is, so lovely is Urmilā; they look at one another from the corners of their beautiful eyes. (1) Beauty's essence and adornment's essence were made into gold, and from that gold these two were fashioned. Their beauty and love cannot be measured or described; thought, exhausted, remains silent. (2) When they entered the bridal chamber, their beauty, virtue, and lovely affection fulfilled the women's eyes—and now, says Tulsīdāsa, they will fulfill his as well. (3)
