भूपके भागकी अधिकाई। टूट्यो धनुष, मनोरथ पूज्यौ, बिधि सब बात बनाई॥ १ ॥ तबतें दिन-दिन उदय जनकको जबतें जानकी जाई। अब यहि ब्याह सफल भयो जीवन, त्रिभुवन बिदित बड़ाई॥ २ ॥ बारहि बार पहुनई ऐहैं राम लषन दोउ भाई। एहि आनंद मगन पुरबासिन्ह देहदसा बिसराई॥ ३ ॥ सादर सकल बिलोकत रामहि, काम-कोटि छबि छाई। यह सुख समउ समाज एक मुख क्यों तुलसी कहै गाई॥ ४ ॥
How abundant is the king's good fortune! The bow broke, his heart's desire was fulfilled, and fate arranged every matter. (1) From the day Jānakī was born, Janaka's prosperity has risen day by day. Now this wedding has made his life fruitful, and his glory is known throughout the three worlds. (2) Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, the two brothers, will come again and again as honored guests! Immersed in this joy, the townspeople forgot the condition of their bodies. (3) Everyone reverently gazed upon Rāma, over whom the beauty of ten million Cupids spread. How can Tulsī sing with one mouth of that joy, that hour, and that assembly? (4)
