Rāma laughed inwardly in delight and checked Lakṣmaṇa; in modesty, virtue, and affection he looked like a newly wedded bride. (3) The whole assembly grew fearful and Janaka became distraught. Looking toward Rāma, Kauśika gave his blessing and command. Tulsī says Raghurāja naturally fell at his guru's feet and accepted the sage-king's command upon his head. (4)
