Rāma shines as he swings in the cradle; the greatly blessed mothers gaze upon him. (1) His body bears a tender, lovely darkness, through which the gleam of his childhood ornaments shimmers. (2) His lips, hands, and feet are charmingly red—golden lotuses born in the lake of love's delight. (3) Seeing the toy sway, he crows, as though the little children of Beauty were playfully tussling. (4) His lotus-eyes are colored with collyrium; a mark of yellow gorocanā shines upon his brow. (5) A lovely black dot gleams upon the moon of his face; Tulsī's heart, the cakora bird, gazes at it. (6)
