When will you four brothers walk upon your feet? Thrilling with love and clasping every son to her heart, Mother Sumitrā asks. (1) Seeing your lovely bodies, childhood clothes and ornaments, and beauty from head to foot, the mothers will break blades of grass to ward off harm, offer their very lives, and bless you again and again. (2) Your cooing, dancing, walking, glancing, and running to meet them will be enchanting; your reflections will flash in jeweled pillars, and beauty will overflow the courtyard. (3) The joy of childhood play is a lovely moon, and its charming sport is moonlight. The ocean of the king's merit will surge, and every home will ring with joyful congratulations. (4) All who feast their eyes will become vessels of merit and happiness. Those who hear your lisping words will effortlessly gain the fruit of birth. (5) Those who bathe in the river of the deeds of Bharata, Rāma, Śatrughna, and Lakṣmaṇa should still today be counted, Tulsī says, as residents of Raghubīra's city in that age. (6)
