Send for sweet fruits and nuts and offer them with the deepest affection; then give him pure water perfumed with lotus and the sweetest delicacies.
Adorn him exquisitely from head to foot and apply kohl to his eyes; fill his brow with an ample tilak and let him savor delightful betel.
Regard him as your own son and perform his parichhan with love; thrilled with joy and playful delight, grant him your blessing.
Pada 50
Joy, joy—today is blessed! The heart’s desire has been fulfilled today.
Behold Raghunandana, the splendid bridegroom; he has become the source of happiness for everyone.
He is the life-breath of the rasika devotees, a treasury of beauty, gentleness, and virtue.
Bring lovely durva grass and unbroken rice; clear your sight and gaze upon him well.
Give milk, saffron, and a garland, dear one; delight in his lovely locks, clustered like a garland of bees.
Drape the blue ceremonial shawl upon him; circle a cow and salt around him as offerings.
Apply collyrium and adorn his brows; take his glance and keep it within your heart.
Prepare a delicious feast, and have nectar-like dishes made within.
Warm his cheeks with the ritual stone; beholding the beloved, let both eyes rejoice.
Blessed is Sita, abode of joy; blessed is this village of Mithila.
By her grace we remain at his left, and have attained dark-hued Ghanshyama.
Bring your sisters and companions with you; call all four noble bridegrooms.
Drunk with delight, they go together; every limb thrills with joy.
Pada 51
At the very sight of the charming bridegroom Raghunandana, everyone’s heart was pierced through.
