Staying with everyone, they'll often come to satsang. Guru Sri Mooji Baba, he... now what I'm going to say, we have to look and answer, okay? Because I know that we already know the right answers, so not mental answers. What do you need to exist right now? You. If you like, effortless, yes? Is there something holding up this existence, supporting? Really nothing supporting. So this existence, inherently, naturally, do you find that there is a sense of lack in it? Is there something, a sense of something missing for it? So for this original 'I am', original existence, there is no such thing as desire right now. In this one, there's nothing. As we see, desire means that something is lacking in me and I want. So your existence right now is empty of desire.
Again, just simply in existence itself, is there any sense, quality, or separation you need? Is there a separation in that which is trying to see if there is duality in this existence itself? The perceiver of the looking and that which exists—is there a sense of them? Again, just in this simple existence itself, there is... instead, it is doing something, not doing something. The idea of the doer also is not inherent in our existence. So this 3D, as I call it, quality—desire, doership—is naturally not present here.
With this sense, after that, what happens naturally? Existence right now. So let's see after that what happens. Let's see. So that was then, about now. Now. So if it continues to be like this, we came to search and we come to the end of ego and to come to the discovery of the one, to one, be one God. It's as simple as that. Now the question comes: after that, what is it? Meaning, if that was difficult, if to remain always in that was difficult, then I would have to pull some of you back to this. When we did the exercise, we started just in a moment and all of you saw this. Therefore, naturally, you were in this. So it must be another false idea that I can leave this. The secret is that it is not that to remain in this is difficult; it is that to leave this is impossible. Nobody has left it. And so we cannot leave the truth because then the truth also would become the change, but the truth is the unchanging.
That's why when I ask you, 'Can you lose something now?' I don't have a preliminary practice before that. I don't say, 'Do ten rounds of Surya Namaskar, then come to this.' Get me, stop me, because I know that whatever your state might be, whatever you might believe about yourself, you are this Being. This Being is here effortlessly. So it is not really a question of 'What about after that?' It is more of a question of 'When will this "what about after that" stop being attractive?' Because there is nothing after that. Nothing after this. And every day we discover the magnificence of this discovery, which seemed so natural.
We're sharing how this Being is that which contains all things, and these can be beautiful insights that come to you organically. I don't have to force them down. Oh, through easy. And don't get a sense that, 'Okay, this insight I don't have yet, that over time and space is within me.' So make that a precondition to anything. Let that flower on its own. But this much is enough to see that that which is to be here now, the presence of which is, does not have any sense of duality, doership, or desire. And this is true for any time. That's why I can just walk into satsang and say, 'Okay, look.' And this is true. That means that all worries must be this... well, actually, all my letters... you don't have to do anything to remain in this.

Now the mind, which has no true insight about this, it will say, 'Is this it?' It has no idea what to do with the same because that which has been found is beyond all things. Mind will say, 'Is it as simple as this? But what's the big deal in this? Are there fireworks in this? Where is my knowledge of all the past and future that I was supposed to get? Where is the immortal body which I was promised?' That which was marketing for spirituality.
This one, I was here in the third standard or something like this, and my father's always worked in the computer industry. So what happened is that he said to me that we have this computer at home, very small. He said, 'If you type out what this book says, then you will start to see this cartoon.' There are some illustrations in the book. He said, 'If you just type out these things, then these cartoons will come on screen.' So I started typing. I started typing and I saw the cartoon was not coming, but others in the circus. So he told me they can do it, programming it. So the marketing was that these cartoons will come. They never came, but different things started to happen, more amazing than just that. So whether the promise that attracted you was an immortal body, some super siddhis, whatever the promise might have been—the cartoons in the book—but what you're finding, the finding is that simply and naturally you are that which cannot be attacked, cannot be affected. Everything might happen in this world, it's the coming and going of the body, but you remain untouched. This Being, what is it covering for yourself?
So simply this Being, one over two. So he said, 'Leave that.' There's something which is scared to die and that becomes a reason for me to go back to the mind, the limited one. So who will be scared of this? Fear of death? Allow it to come. Is it here now? So as it comes, see what you can do. He completely will do. Even if the body starts, see what happens. If you can have a slightly welcoming attitude, let it even come and be here, then you will discover that this one will test another one of your children. This is wearing a Halloween mask for just another immediate moment within you. All this can seem strong as long as we believe the limited idea about self. Once you see that you are that space in which even this fear comes, your experience, which the fear of the unknown, the fear of death once will come, and we experience these things many times, but we are still here. The Being is here, untouched, unaffected by all this spectrum, the sublime and the oranges.
But that down looking comes, all the trim qualities of they came here because you allow yourself to be motionless. You don't even label what they are, and you see that the reality of your existence... either just between verses of microwave popcorn, they got to get happy with this piece of the kitchen. Even if you read kg of bombs, space is this, it will attack space. Which the space comes and I'm so happy there, they have been saying this in satsang very often, then absolute said the demon disappears within this piece of you. You imitating earrings or an object, that's what all energetic occurrences—objects over there perceived through the senses or seen inwardly as some sensational movement. Let's for a moment call everything an object. Can an object affect something which is not an object?
So objects can interact with, can affect, can attack or defend against other objects. But what you are finding about yourself is that you are not an object. So how can this fear object, fear perception, enter to affect something which is not an object? It's like saying, 'I'm going to go and light a fire in this hall and I'm going to go through space.' If you go to space, we can burn the air in the space. If you have some really advanced technology, we can pull all the air out of it, you can make it a vacuum, but that vacuum was also in that space. So that space remains untouched. And you are that space in which this space is perceived. Your existence, when you exist first thing in the morning, I wake up, I am bits of matter, did I? Ana, waking up, all of this functioning of time and space. Before that, nothing. So you are that space with this fear itself and this space itself remains unaffected by anything. So how can that from which this stuff is being affected? So I'm just giving you these pointers so you can check and verify for yourself whether all this is true, not just on the basis of beliefs, but this on the basis of influence, but for you gradually check.
Then all these nothing—go inside, outside, before, after—they won't start to feel away. The seeker says, 'There is total hopelessness.' Two words: life failed him, everything and lost him, losing everything else. Why is it happening? Does it happen in this part? Yes, many times it does happen. It is wrong. But one of the best things which is available in this world is to be the living embodiment of the Satguru. Whatever form appeals to you the most, like in this form, the form of Guruji appeals to you the most. So you have to find that embodiment of the Satguru which appeals to you the most, and then when that one is holding your hand, then everything seems so hopeful. Otherwise, in this journey, as everything that you felt was important was relevant, all the news that you heard about yourself as well, it's quite a destructive process from the perspective of the mind. And as that is happening, you might feel like there's a great meaninglessness to this life. But then you meet the master, you find a beautiful joy in this meaninglessness where you could be saying, 'The point of politicians, this didn't work and that didn't work, there is really no point in anything.' Then you come to this place where you're like, 'Oh, there is no why for anything, there is no point.' It's like a child who is not trying to figure out the point of play. A child does not go to the playground and say, 'Okay, make a point of why I am going on the swing a hundred times. What is the point of doing?' Just feel it. This is why we're saying this now.
So to all wiring is consciousness, and I've also pointed out, and I know for value here it's unfolded, so I've also pointed out how mind is so attracted to this 'why' question, the W-H-Y, and so unattractive to the 'who' quest, W-H-O. Just one alphabet different. I keep saying, 'Why, why, why this? Why me? Why like that?' Hardly ever will we be inclined to ask, 'For whose life is this?' You see? So for the limited idea we have about ourselves, when we come to this meaninglessness, it is a very oppressive concept, almost like nihilism. It's like these depressed philosophers. I love philosophy, but I think against philosophy, good thing. It can take on this form of this nihilism which is depressive. But as you meet life as that Being which is the light of this life, it wants nothing from this life, which is experiencing its own Being in multifold ways and all the colors in the joy and the disappointment. Both as a Leela like that, can you see that there is a joy of full existence? They grab you, this limited mention about yourself, then you see the meaning of this life. But it is not something that you can elaborate, not something that you can articulate. Somebody comes and says, 'What did you find? What was the meaning?' Actually, yes, some might say, 'Just to be, just to be.' Some might say that even that is not really the meaning, giving is completely wrong conceptually. So you can't really articulate.
So change the question if you can, 'why' to 'who'. So you can change the question from 'why' to 'who' and leave everything to the Master. This coming to this, allowing or picking up interpretations or notions about these are the only two positions. That what is happening is happening anyway. So this one is consciousness itself playing with its power of belief or dropping hints. Choice maker? Is it this consciousness itself? Now consciousness has these great primal forces, one of them being the power of belief, and it chooses to exercise this power of belief, then it puts on the pretense of individuality. That one never actually comes into existence, this individual. So therefore it can never have choice. Only choice is this way of consciousness that is playing with itself. So this satsang is just consciousness reminding itself. Now you consider yourself something, you will trade and you resist certain emotional schemes. What you are, you are this limitless one. Allow this to come. So this is a monologue the consciousness is having with itself because that is how it wants to experience its play. At this one, if you see it, who would make that choice? So I say, 'Okay, let's make it a multiple choice question.'
This is this way of consciousness that is playing with itself. So this satsang is consciousness reminding itself. Now you consider yourself something, you will trade and you resist certain emotional schemes. What you are, you are this limitless one. Allow this to come. So this is a monologue the consciousness is having with itself because that is how it wants to experience its play. At this point, if you see it, who would make that choice? So I say, okay, let's make it a multiple-choice question. The first option will be: there is an individual entity who would make that choice. That one we look for, we can't find, you see. The one that doesn't exist can't make any choice at all.
What is the next option? What is here actually? Consciousness, the dynamic aspect of your own self. This consciousness, which is what I call the light of this universe, so that is here. So this one seems to play in this way, isn't it? When these ideas come, it seems to light on with belief, and sometimes an idea is from it, isn't it? So what we call the right now, or me or you, seeming choice for this one, so it is playing with this choice of choosing individuality or remaining as Brahman itself. Satguru Ji says satsang is by God, for God. This is what it means. Or reminding God that it has just been playing with this bubble of individuality. And how it is designed in those systems, this alarm clock which someone says, 'Well, do that,' is not really true. It's a game which is going too far.
And then we could say, what is the third choice? I'd say that absolute Nirguna Brahman as well. So satsang is consciousness speaking. It's always been consciousness between consciousness only. For the eyes, consciousness mostly consciousness has been speaking with itself as if it is. I took this thing to happen like this where I don't feel I would have said incidentally that allow fear to take over. I just was saying that see if it can. As you welcome it, you see, you can never take over. That's the whole point. That it can seem like it's going to take you, but actually it is just an energetic movement within you. The second idea of the space that you are feels like, 'Oh, it might come, and when it comes, it might take me over.' We allow it. If I enter, this fear is here also. I can hear these words coming from that mouth. Both of them are in the same space or different spaces? Find that in the same space, other perceptions also continue. Nothing is completely taken over.
So then what happens is that the mind uses this opportunity for the best sort of movement. Some things you really want this time, really like that. Although I usually add often that once I had this experience before I met Mooji Ji. As I said today, he is the inquiry and I'm not going to leave it until I find myself in very, very full motivation to use inquiry. So exciting, I'm inquiring and doing the inquiry to the full. But once a thought comes, 'Don't do this,' find out who witnesses that time. The witness of whatever might be. To the tea, you something started becoming very student. Everything, there was some perception of it. I don't know those motels, look, my Twitter even back, stop everything but moving you. And then the mind came and said, 'Stop this, I'll give you a good life.' The mind itself said, 'Deal?' and I said, 'Deal.' I mean, I was ready with the devil. I was there, I was finding myself, and I just made a deal. But both were energy constructs of the mind itself. So it pulls out all these tricks. It says, 'What is it really good at? You die for this?' Yeah, these kind of things. I don't know what it is expecting. You start to know, just like the mind which says, 'Come and I'll give you a good life.' We seem to latch on only with this power that we can believe. It includes value to something which is more in the rate to thin, you know, like I send to something which is just a concept. Well, what is missing to latch on with that and picks up the pretense of some positions?
So one necessary thing to see, I started liberating this. We can notice the mind starts offering all these notions. Sometimes I see, and more and more you'll find that as you see that they don't apply to anything, you think your emotions are really valuable and to lose everything because they become so dirty. Did you play with these dinky cars as a kid? These small cars. So at one point here, I don't know why these childhood stories, very small, any time a new model would come in the market, let's go. So I got each of this, thought of this new Hot Wheels car or something very attractive. But then as you start to grow, then you see them too. If this thought came now, 'Oh, this Lamborghini convertible,' there's no meaning here now. So the same way as you are discovering what you truly are, discovering your limitlessness, the mind comes with these offers. So both the recognition of what you are and the dropping of pretenses are beautifully linked. As you see what you are, belief doesn't go so automatically, it moves automatically in these notions. Then it gives you more space. This is what I call the virtuous cycle. There is also a vicious cycle. Every time you believe something, you have to be something limited. You are great from that place. Then it says, 'Okay, yes, you are this one. You are this one who's interested in buying a car.' Then every time nobody comments it, who took all this one? This one has this engine or no? Then cut open that identity of the car buyer. So that one moment of recognition, empty of forms, pulls you out of that which is so cool. I bet these notions do not. That's all, only the game of consciousness into being.
But now, what about you? So this being that we were introduced to right in the beginning, what else can come which is more valuable than you? Okay, so this Self which is apparent when you come to the recognition of this being, this oneself, although phenomenal and the aspects of that, but what is greater than that? You. This is naturally present because it is here. Look, naturally present here now. It is naturally present now. What could come that is worth exchanging this one for? This being, spend the rest of your lives working on this project and at the end of the life you will have 50 million dollars. By the way, I'm not saying that any of these things are bad. See the flow of this life, they can happen automatically. But I'm saying, would you exchange this being which is just naturally present here for any notion, idea, which has an offer attached to the end of one of this play of relationship, money, health of the body? All of this can actually be fine, but I'm saying that what is it that we are giving value to now? Now you can see that that which is the most valuable, like myself, the most valuable is already here with me now. Then you see what I mean by a play. Then the rest of it just becomes so clean. The child is not going to the playground here about getting something or scared about losing something. This thing, then this you truly see is play. Free from desire and aversion, free from doership, free from duality, and even the concept of you. You remaining a motionless existence and see how that becomes okay.
This existence, amazing. Yes, the one that I'm calling being is that existence too. There is no God, there is like a tasting of being. It seems to be contained in the body like the fragrance or the presence of this one. You see that? Is this an aspect of this being itself that I am pointing to as all these byproducts? Experience a lot of this presence or I experience a lot of love. Do I say all of these? But these are the byproducts of this existence. They've been attached to being itself. We're not seeing big networks. His question also: who decided to pick up the offer or not? It's the same being yourself, same consciousness which is playing with all of these. Then children playing doctor-doctor, this play identity, and it seems to be a private home. Consciousness always likes the play, that's why the play exists. Nothing moves without the will of consciousness. So now sometimes consciousness likes to play as if the individual light is liking it, and sometimes it likes to play as if the individual is not. From the level of consciousness, we'll never be saying that this is happening without consciousness liking it because that would actually mean it's contrary to the will of consciousness. Nothing has ever happened contrary to the will of God. Consciousness follows the will of God itself. So about putting itself into something that it doesn't want to do, we start accepting that it's another way of saying that everything is the grace of God. Everything is the grace of the Master. A person can leave the rules. It's like we go for these tragic movies. Yeah, this tragic play is like if you ask anyone, 'Do you like to play house?' 'I don't like that.' The same ones pay for these tragedies. There is some joy in experiencing that is also too much. Then sugar sometimes pays you. Every single song, see they then took the offer or rejected it. You can see that for a bit.
The difference, everyone is doing the review in doing, you know, we don't know. Thank you all so much for being in satsang today. Satguru Sri Mooji Babaji Ki Jai.
