Ananta uses the metaphor of a master burning down a disciple's carefully built house of beliefs to reveal that true liberation lies in the nakedness of conceptual silence rather than replacing old identities with new spiritual ones.

The master doesn't give you a halo; he sets your house of identity on fire.
Step back from the entire paradigm of belief into a complete, conceptual nakedness.
Your existence is not held up by concepts; your existence is what gives power to concepts.

A very warm welcome to satsang. Mooji Baba ki Jai. Good luck and more blessings on Monday. She said to me, 'Monday to be the authoritative day.' So I said, 'Is it?' Suppose someone builds this house, all this mansion, and is it other than who am I speaking to? Softly, your house. Okay, suppose that ten years ago we started building it. You want it to be the best house possible. I did that. Spent one year on the plan, the best architect. Then every part of the house, the floor is repeated it again, modeled the best. It has a kitchen platform from Belgium, granite, everything top-notch. And you've been building slowly, with great care. And whatever you built you didn't like, you demolished it, we rebuilt it to get it right, get it just right.

Ananta

Ten years have come. Now the roof is leaking. The roof is leaking. When you ask around and say, 'Who is the best one who can make this roof?' and somebody says, 'This one is the best one.' So we go to this one. He looks at your house. He doesn't seem too impressed. That itself is upsetting, firstly. Then you seem too impressed with the house that you built. And next he looks up and says, 'Come, I'll show you something.' So he takes your hand and takes you out and walks with you until you get to the middle of nowhere. We get to the middle of nowhere and this one says, 'This is your house. Here is your house.' How will you feel? Ten years building a house and this one, who seems quite crazy by the way, pretty clearly is crazy, takes you to the middle of nowhere and says, 'This is your house.'

Ananta

This is our reality. And many of you can correlate your initial thoughts and reactions to this. What does this mean really? Smoothly and slowly we have built up a belief system that becomes the person. Building that means comparing some teachers and books, other people that we've met, all the self-help technical proof. We've taken these gears and built this identity and then we said, 'What is the cherry on this cake?' or 'On top of this identity, how can I give it a halo?' And somebody said, 'Go to this one.' And this one, that is the Master, this will give you a halo. He doesn't give you a halo. He says, 'Even though this that you built up, if you want to come with me, you have to leave it. And we have to be honest.' He can say, 'Mostly this doesn't feel good.' It doesn't feel good, at least initially, because you will say, 'Tell me what is wrong, I will fix it. If this wall is wrong, I'll demolish it, I'll make a new one.' I've done it many times before. I was in this movement, then I went to this class, I had this satsang, and I realized that something is not right, so I tried to change it for something else.

Ananta

So the disciple says to the Master, 'Tell me where you're going to take me or tell me what I can do instead of this. I've done this before. You have taken a set of beliefs, I realized that they were wrong, I dropped them, I built a new set. That is what you're saying. Tell me I'm wrong and tell me how I'm wrong and I will replace it with your philosophy.' Or, 'What is it like? This I feel. You tell me what is not like that and now we take your version of what.' And I look at that and we demolish all that easily and I think, 'You'll now put it there.' But the Master is saying, 'This is both from him.' You think, 'But is this a better place where you're taking me? Is it going to be better? Tell me how it is going to be better. I've given my life to this, building this house.' Is it so?

Ananta

This is why a spiritual search can seem to have this like many times in satsang we share this, 'The town is burning.' You see, a lot of burning is happening, a lot of things are going. 'I am burning on the inside.' What is actually burning? What is burning in these are concepts, even our spiritual concepts. And many times when this burning is happening, it is not feeling good. Why doesn't it feel good? I was hearing somebody, he has to be very good, the mechanics of belief. And they said every belief that we have right now, we hold it as right. It's only when it is given up that you realize that. While you have it, it feels like it is the right thing. So, belief. So you might go through that journey of starting to feel like there's something wrong with the dues and then testing it some more, inquiring into the nature of it and dropping it. But while we hold it, it doesn't seem to you that it is limiting you. While you're holding a belief, it does not feel to you that it is limiting you. It feels to you that it is necessary, it is helpful.

And then you meet someone who in your heart you feel is to be trusted, but they are taking you to a place where there is no such belief system. It can feel like something is happening because we feel like this, 'What I'm burning is what I have invested in for so long, this belief system for so long, for so long.' And the bigger problem in a way is that, and please tell me what to do on this, please tell me, 'Demolish the house, but what are you going to give me?' No roof, no walls to stay. This is the body. The Master says, 'All of this is within you. You don't need a house in this sense. You don't need this identity. You don't need this house of cards.' My inner self finally being open and this can feel strange and scary. The Master says, 'Don't worry, I know it was, but I am with you.' And I being smooth is walking and I will take you through it.

Ananta

In the design of the mind, the mind is not designed to just give up without a fight. When a belief starts getting questioned, it also gets everything to try and reinforce it, everything to be in fix. And that works with all of you, but it especially works with our doubts. It's similar to the doubts can be our easy system. So you choose feeling, for example. Suddenly a thought comes to you, 'Today he talked for a month like this.' Notice how quickly the mind will use that opportunity to see, 'He also said like last Thursday and he did that to this one.' And in planning, you know, 'This one said this, then he said that.' This is the nature of the mind, quickly produce enough evidence seemingly for this function. So that can get depleted very quickly. It's almost like a spider. Have you seen a spider? When like a mosquito in a spiderweb, what happens? Quickly goes so much quicker. The mind is a bit like these arbitrators, doesn't leave it. It was spinning all the stories around and soon and this one can be useful in ten minutes, who could be convinced. In any case, what did we say? We say that I agree to see he is rather than you. So within a short period of time, it could be caught up from this finish of beliefs.

Ananta

Now, traditional spiritual replacement belief system, which is supposed to last for a bit, okay. It is too much for them to leave your house without any walls and come to this middle of nowhere without any walls anyway. So let me construct a temple for you to Ram. Wake up at five every morning to put it down. And we're saying that if you look at some of those, at least it feels a little more comforting. I left my old way of thinking and replaced it with a new one. I left my old lifestyle and replaced it with a new one. And that thing seemed to provide some sense of comfort. But when you come to something like this, which is more direct, well, I don't really want to give you a belief system. I want you to be, will just step back from this entire paradigm of belief itself. Step back from this entire paradigm of belief in the Master. You come to a greater openness, not replacing one old with a new one, replacing it with complete nakedness, coming in the lack of conceptual support structure.

Ananta

And it is the Master's job to hold your hand through this all because you need to be to you. It will seem like in a way he's setting your house on fire. It might seem like he's setting your house on fire. So it is up to the Master at what speed that house has to be set on fire, whether to put down your fire a little bit, make it a little more comfortable, or to increase the intensity of this fire. And the Master is relying on their computer inside. Allow this. But it has to come to this. Without it, it is a limited paradigm. Believe in something or believe in the opposite of that something. Without this paradigm of duality, a thing and its opposite, of truth and light, of good and bad, of past and future, of meaning and other time. This is what I mean when I said motionless existence.

Ananta

Nextly, it is completely verifiable. In this moment we exist. What concept are you using to be? What concept? What concept is holding up your existence? You'll find that no concept is holding up my existence. My existence has been holding up some concepts. My identity, my consciousness right now, which has been giving power to concepts such as 'I am something' and this, but 'I am that.' Around every concept is the limitation of boundary, a house, my existence. But this house is never here. It is only the most and only conceptual. So the Ashtavakra says, 'The mind is complex, let it go.' So just in pure state you deserve. Don't identify. A label of something creates the sense of identity. Like nobody really knows what a man is or a woman is, and yet we use these labels, identified ourselves with that. This is how it works and creates the sense of identity around that which is completely beyond our limitations.

Ananta

Please, as it this one is bad but not over now. The thing is that not only does it define him, try to define what you are, it wants to, tries to define what you are not. So you need to see. And I have no man, it automatically defines that you are not a dog, cat, cow, you're not a woman. And I know some of this might sound strange sure, but when you pick up one belief from this sphere of conditioning and like hold it, until that the entire reality is valid. But all we know how to move, what a man does, let's just take a simple example. You have a beard. What is it? You add on the fields, this piece. This is one aspect of defining a man. So one most of you took mine and it seemed harmless enough, but until you picked up the entire law. This is how we pick up conditioning because we built up one label, one idea, one concept about ourselves and it seemed like a fact. Then that structure of personality, that's what I was saying the other day, that don't try to play this game in the street where you can say, 'I can play with me for some time and the minute it starts to get too hot in this kitchen, I will just go to the board now.' But actually every notion that you pick up, we can knock this entire conceptual structure. It seems to define you, it seems to limit that you want to are in reality. There cannot be something that you are or are not because not only are you the light of all there is, you are also the screen of all levels. Simply put, all there is, all there is, which gives me the perfume, but you are beyond that. It is not beyond you, but you are beyond even that.

Ananta

So the limit, redefine other than these ways, 'I am this' and therefore applying 'I am not that.' We wear this mask, this spiritual mask of separate individuality. Now the thing is that and I say the mean in your motionless presence will appear as a motionless existence around this wall. So you can create like a hundred notions and I think with any pointing like this, in any pointing this is that it's always shelter until a minute. The many of your minds might be saying right now with this, so I mean this pointing is completely self-referential and we get in the way of this slide now. That I saw one example, this was beautiful. If you see, very much beautiful ways to relate to clips. He says, 'Treat the inquiry or treat something like lips as the stick that we need to light the funeral pyre.' The funeral pyre is also sticks, this is also stick, and yet you use a stick to light it and then what happens in the street? Even this is from now.

Ananta

Sometimes in our over-enthusiasm we throw this one first. Then, 'Okay, now I've got rid of the concept of motionless existence,' and quickly this forever and all the other notions start to come back in. We're quick to forget the inquiry or myself. We don't need any tool. We throw that out for the hundred other beliefs. He said, 'If you have thorns embedded more in there, then you use a thorn to remove it and then this thorn can also be thrown both.' What happened? What would happen if you threw this thorn first? The seemingly deeply embedded condition we need appears in.

Ananta

This one first, then. Okay, now I've got rid of the concept of motion with existence and quickly this forever and all the other motion stuff to come back in. Quick to forget the inquiry or myself. We don't need any... we throw that out for the hundred other. Like he said, if you have thorns embedded more in there, then you use a thorn to remove it, and then this thorn can also be thrown. Both. What would happen if you threw this thorn first? The seemingly deeply embedded conditioning appears in the form of a thorn. Then you can seem like... like I said before, belief arises initially, which means, in fact, righteous. That I must believe this. This is the position I must have because it could not be like... also thorn and all this. Finally, this is fine, but this I have to take: relationship, thank you for my gender, or something. How many of us believe that? I'll come back, my name is resistant to this. After I deal with this particular thing, this particular thing, I need to be somebody that we can just play with this. And then on call, make it available just before our suffering is about to come. I will have downloaded each art, I'd call it. It is true, actually, and yet the web of the spider can seem to entangle so quickly that you might not even remember about your presence. The spiritual sparks coming... this also does not mean, because I know the nature of the mind will take you to the extreme. You say, 'See, we did that yesterday.' You could tap on, you know, on a head, said, 'What is all of this? Is not seen action?' So it's like it can initially feel like a bit of a fine line, like the results there, almost neither this nor that. Let me discover that it's still a most open field and notionlessness. The same ocean was pressed, which for me, I feel like I deserve these already at the mountain where you could read carefully. It will become like an open field. You see nothing. I can kind of make a difference maker.

Ananta

Then this signal sample somebody wrote: 'Money is an anatomy in being forgiving basic cell so much.' Each word can have this. Will not be intended with open from again. I'm saying that if you look at any part of flatly, firstly human itself as formally mentioned the cash flow, then indeed you can also say this way: entire universe is the anatomy of the... oh, you take the notion of these vectors. It sounds of cars. Maybe there's some fundamental cogs in the metro motion cinema, although it is not true actually. But I found great routine what Guruji said once. He said, 'I woke up this morning and I thought that movies, their history weaker.' And for that one moment before the theorems, the manifest appearance of this world, you don't want to be rich. Bodies here. This is what we are now calling the waking state. It is another dimension which we've experienced the opposites of all of these. And then on top of these, when your body-mind works, on top of that, personality, they switch. Because now this is what I mean by a reservation. This kitchen in the interactive, going from attachment to neutrality, not strong attachment to renunciation. Because this part is where the ones are to create trouble, because it doesn't get that I'm saying we're moving from attachment to neutrality, not attachment to renunciation. Because what is renunciation but another attachment? An attachment to not having anything. Everyone sees me in a wheel.

Ananta

So when we step back from this entire family and not consider it's important to reiterate that if you feel like you're not across, so it is left, that is the right. You say long time, which means the son. I say do not live automatically. You presume we do, right? So you say, 'So let's write them,' and say, 'It is not right.' So then is it left then? Your rotational levels might increase. Then is it left then? No. Then it must be the right? No. But, but left... this is the thing with a mouth neutrality. What is business? Especially this isn't it. He's not at the movie theater. So then we didn't actually just to step back from this. No less, no more. Lies, more mysteries of this applies to the reality of two more parts. My instinct is also if I say that there is no party, you would say, 'I must get it this instant.' But I say there is nothing to get in this instant. Oh, then I must snap out of this.

Seeker

The question: Hello Father, for some time this question has been arising. If your awareness is not negative nor positive, why we experience happiness and joy from contemplating on ourselves and why we don't feel sadness or negative? That hit empty of quality at if we have to make a comparison, we can compare it with deep sleep state.

Ananta

Perfect timing. So he said something interesting. So, so these are variants which is very much like deep sleep, same night. Then I get a positive. How happy will you be in your deep sleep? To it when you are happy to have sleep now with this secret. So these qualities also power apply them. The qualities which are a part of our physical economic existence pole apply. So that's why actually I'm happy to see that you say you don't feel sadness or negative, but I do. Joy or sadness will be part of this phenomenon comes back which is whichever in next fields beyond this privately. And that substratum does not change. That substratum of real truth, this drama is absolute. So this is my bouche. It's not a metaphor, but this is like the ocean on top of which then these waves arrive. But we can stay on the resolution, but on top of this thing is the magnification. At one of the beams wields identification with the state itself and other wheels at which people released me to. Then we try to collect or form an appearance to be secured as a we list all of this in Spartan. This is appearance and all of this between the gulanite. All of this is going to movement.

Ananta

Maybe not. We predict that this realm, this body, this system, the level truly repeats itself in this way over again. The company we might say, 'But I have a memory of yesterday.' But we have memories even in dream. It might be the first anime experience of dream, but we have the full life story. We cannot... some yogis at times it's a Rubik's phone system. But suppose tomorrow when you wake up, not completely possible if you Monica the experience of the centrality of another character. If you feel who will reign with all of these boys in character? Only the presence will now allow me used to be your deep inside the novena. I can see that all you have to do effort is in English the last episode like this way. So awareness is in view of all of these Philippines and you can read. I've started ignite that this is my very soul. Then at time you can swim like a fish over see. It's overrated and I timed it and then some sadness came to please for the millions of the attachment to the bathroom. You sit there out is some sadness and this kind of experience.

Ananta

So my advice would be not be very summer for the byproduct of what is coming as you inquire with what to say. Because it is the truth we need to value for food because it'll be true. It's perfectly respectable to byproducts and I appeared with the reporter which I remember you. It's so funny that you speak to someone because in the world through the street and you see you spend a lot of time asking yourself 'Who am I?' What can you get with that significant finding? But imagine that for the lady woke up and you forgot your identity. I thought we want I know. How can you did you wake up and you know they will say my name, my name is Mahir. Go to the passport office is there. I don't know what my name is. You see he is with some help and I got immediately go to a doctor business. But when you talk about the self-inquiring beautiful, it's a kind of thing. Why do you have to know what you did? But the religions that we were and everybody go, that is your very design as consciousness tormented in the regions of this. This video, there's so much towards that is forgotten that will back you if you see what I... what's the point is that we start to get an environment in this context.

Ananta

It becomes finally first before I can make any other conclusion about myself, that mean it means find out what is self. It the motionless including this surrender or the condition of the food. The polygamous conservatives battlefield. You don't have the concept to define or disrespect because they're back for eternity. This surrender, luminousness, which means we'll start in five hundred step away from this other than altitude and especially from this definitely. And what the master said, the master set fire to your house of times and represent your highest insight. Until the mind is to find do you into representing its biggest down little always have something back into the ice-cream site instead it makes a little from oxidative itself. How long did you create sergeant? So about this beautiful Gita, the conversation you can divine Lord Krishna's disciple miss what to this reasoning. Speak from your highest insight and then go. He said if this Krishna, I know that in heaven can do any such thing like that through the possibility in some mistiming bricks that you can take far back as a physician. So remember that because Krishna here to mock trials please. It's either why that which is worn open like this piece. So much for being such some pretty.
