Let Not Dress Up This Truth in Any Way - 25th November 2019
Saar (Essence)
Ananta urges seekers to transcend their reliance on fleeting spiritual feelings and perceptions, pointing instead toward the unchanging reality that exists beyond time, space, and all conceptual notions of duality.
Everything appearing in time and space is going to burn; come to that which is beyond coming and going.
Demolish everything you think, attach to, or want to defend; ideas of truth have nothing to do with reality.
The heart we are pointing to is deeper than any layer of perception or feeling.

Satsang is not just about our no aversion to nice feelings of good, but Satsang is really about transcending even this layer of our existence. Not to make you so dependent, because I've seen this happen for many. It just becomes so dependent on the quality of the feelings as you're sitting here, which is like judging a Satsang solely on that. 'But this is so nice, I feel so good, thank you, thank you, thank you.' Yeah, and then the feeling fades, as all perception does. Then the place will all seem like a contraction. There is just like, 'No, but this is just not helping. Inquiry is not working,' and all this kind of thing, you see.
So we just become so reliant on what is arising at that layer of perception that really the heart that we are pointing to is deeper than that, higher than that. So enjoyable as it may seem to talk of beautiful things, if you can show me a feeling which does not come and go, put it to a test. Which is always there? Show me a piece of poetry which you can read constantly for the rest of this waking state. Is there? Then I mean, follow that. But that which is beyond all of these layers of existence, beyond existence itself, beyond any notion of separation, beyond any idea of duality—everything that is in time and space is going. Everything that is appearing and you attach to is going to burn. Let it burn. Before it burns, come to that which is beyond coming and going.
Let that stop. Let's be naked. Let's be open. Let's not dress up these truths in any way at all. Demolish, blow up everything that you think. All that you attach to, all that you want to defend and attack. These ideas of truths have nothing to do with reality. You will come to a point where you're not seeing a difference between the words of Satsang, the words of the Satguru, and a nursery rhyme even. All of this talk of contending who's in... very funny idea that you were seeking something. We'll see. Thank you.
