Saar (Essence)

Ananta emphasizes that the true Guru leads the seeker beyond the personal 'me' and the manifest world to the unchanging reality. He invites devotees to surrender all life experiences to the master's grace.

The Guru is greater than any light, because in the Guru's light you see yourself beyond the manifest.
Both surrender and self-knowledge are the grace of this master.
It is not easy to be open to the dissolution of this 'me'.

Ananta

Namaste and welcome everyone to this morning's identity. All acronyms, all love, all our devotion at the feet of our master, that Satguru Sri Mooji Baba. All our lives are His grace. May we forever be in service to our master. May all that appears in our life be accepted as his Prasad, his gift to us, with no interpretation nor judgment. May we accept everything with full openness. May all of you be so blessed on this auspicious occasion. Thank you, thank you all so much for joining this morning. I was expecting to see maybe five or six of you; it is so good to see you all. Are you able to hear well? Is the audio and video fine?

Ananta

We had a small, sweet ceremony a few minutes ago, and I was sharing with them that the master is worthy of our devotion, of our trust, and our love because it is only the master which not just takes us beyond the personal, not just takes us from this locus of the 'me' as I call it, out of this 'me' into something else in the world, but it is only the master which takes us out of this world to that reality which is forever unchanging. So many times the Guru is referred to as a light, but the Guru is much greater than any light that we can fathom. Because even with the brightest light, in the light of the Sun, the manifest comes alive. You can have the brightest light and you will get to see more and more of the manifest, but in the Guru's light, you see yourself beyond the manifest. So beautiful is that.

Ananta

And of course, the Guru is not just the form of the master, but on this day, we celebrate the form of the master and we use that as a representation to bow down and to give our gratitude to that which seems to appear as a form but takes us to the formless. So in this life, there's been no greater gift than the master. So not only does the master take us beyond this manifest realm, but also we can surrender the manifest to the master. And what else can we really need in life? That which shows us that which is beyond the coming and going of this universe, but also we can surrender everything that we think we have in our life to him, to her, whatever the form may be.

Ananta

So when we say Guru Kripa Kevalam, you think that we surrender everything that appears in this life to you at your feet. You are taking care of it now; nothing is there for me to do. So both surrender and self-knowledge are the grace of this master, and that is why on this auspicious day of Guru Purnima, you are blessed. I was also sharing that it is very rare, you see, because most of us have been sharing about this, that most of us actually need a or want a God-assisted life. We want a Guru or God to help us in our life in some way, and we feel like it's another aspect of the manifest creation which is almost like a cheat code in this manifest world. We enter Guru Kripa Kevalam and everything will go according to what our mind wants, you see. So we want the assistance of God; we want God or Guru to be an assistant.

Ananta

But the minute we realize that it is not according to what our mind wants—the outcomes or what plays out is according to the supreme intelligence of the master themselves—then there can be some fear that comes. There can be some concern, like 'this is not what I wanted.' This kind of resistance can come, you see. So I wanted to thank the Sangha for their openness because it is not easy, in a way, to let go of all, especially this aspect that 'I came into Satsang because the master was going to help me.' We realize that actually the master is taking me beyond me, then the 'me' doesn't like that. Letting go of the false, we say from darkness to light or ignorance to truth, but what is that? There is only one ignorance: the idea of limitation, the idea of being personal.

Ananta

So even freedom, even enlightenment, sounded very good to the person initially. 'I could really do with this.' The instant you realize that there's nothing that this 'me' will get—in fact, it is the dissolution of this 'me'—many can't take it. This becomes too hot in the kitchen and you feel like you have to run. So I wanted to give my deep gratitude on this day to all of you as well because it is not easy to be open to the dissolution of this 'me'. It is not really easy for most. As you meet yourself in this pure unmanifest reality where there is nothing for the 'me' to hold on to, there is a fear of death. Some have even called it anxiety, nausea; we feel like you're dying really. Many times you can feel like this. But if you want truth greater than everything else, if truth is really what you want, then even this will be nothing for you.

Ananta

And this maybe is the highest reason why the Guru is worthy of our devotion, because he has crossed this mental barrier. He has taken this quantum leap; he's already the cow jumped over the moon. So to get their support in this human life is a great blessing. For us to have a master is the greatest blessing because both the manifest and unmanifest are taken care of. What else could you be concerned with? So I feel like there was some agenda, so let me not make this a one-hour... so we're going to allow you to unmute yourselves.

Ananta

Enjoy your... the mind can claim many interpretations. We, the mind... just like some of us have their experience of doing live translation. Some of you doing live translation duty, there's no way that your mind can keep up. You just have to trust life. You just have to trust. Then everyone wanted to say something, no? What was the idea? Okay, Prakash Abu Klea has his hand up. Pranam. Can you hear me?

Seeker

Yes, my love, I can. Me and Shruti are here and on the occasion of Guru Purnima, we do Pranam to you. And yeah, and my kids are also here, they also want to just see you, you know? And on this occasion of Guru Purnima, Shruti wants to show you what she made for you. Yeah, wow, yeah, it has the same color too.

Ananta

Oh, that's beautiful. Thank you, thank you so much. Yes, thank you.

Seeker

So we would not like to take much of your time here. So thank you, thank you for everything.

Ananta

Let's enjoy seeing all of you, such a joy. Okay, we have Niranjan.

Seeker

Namaste Father. Namaste. Am I audible, Father? Yes, first of all, I would like to bow at your holy feet. It's a special occasion of Guru Purnima and I would like to thank you so much for your incessant pointings to the reality. And also I would like to thank all the beloved Sangha members for all their love and blessings and all the support. And I also want to assure my fellow Sangha members that it is always possible what Guru says, to get enlightened or whatever we want to call it. But I would like to say that we should always trust his words. We should believe what he is saying and that will liberate us. Because this expression here has been suffering from major depression for about 15, more than 15... you can say 15 to 20 years or so. But it is my own experience that what Guru says is the truth and we should follow his or her pointings. That's what I wanted to say. Thank you so much.

Ananta

Beautiful. Thank you, thank you for sharing, my dear. All my love, all my love is always with you. Thank you. Okay, Sadashiva.

Seeker

Thank you, Baba. You can come and now you are muted. No, one thing, now it is unmuted, my dear. Now you can speak. Yes, it is a blessing for us, all the Sangha members including me, to have a Guru like you who can be met without any problem, you know, nothing. And you have blessed us. But now we are missing you, we are missing the discussion and of course, we are missing the Sangha members. Thank you.

Ananta

Thank you, we miss you too and we expect you very soon after this whole lockdown and all of this is over. Yeah, when we get to spend some time. Yeah, waiting for that. Yes, I'm sure. Okay, no other hands? No? Okay, she can come forward.

Seeker

Hello, hello. Okay, Father, I just wanted to say that your presence in my life has been a great blessing. I'm very grateful to you. I really miss being in person with you, just sitting in that room. I don't know if I miss them all. Happy Guru Purnima, Father.

Ananta

Thank you. Are you in Bangalore?

Seeker

Yes, Father. So much love, so much love to you, my dear. Thank you.

Ananta

Okay, then I see Bilas.

Seeker

Namaste Beloveds. Happy and blessed Guru Purnima, Ananta. Gratitude for your constant pointings and grace and compassion and love and care. And you are like home, the whole Sangha is like a real mother. And I hope in love and so much love for my son and I. I couldn't look you in this life, thank you also together with having Mooji. So I'm glad, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much. So just reach the port. Thank you.

Ananta

Atien can come. It's a moment for the mute, yes.

Seeker

Not so well, my dear. Just very mild. Last week was much better, a little better. Yes, I just want to say how grateful I am for all the pointings which for us Westerners to recognize the Guru as the inner one. And I'm so grateful for this because this day being in India and living this day in India is probably a replacement to recognize the great. We think that the Guru is great, but you are great yourself. Thank you.

Ananta

Thank you, Felicia. Thank you. Then I want to come on, Mama.

Seeker

Yes, yes, my dear. I'm so grateful to you, so so grateful to you for everything. Words do not express what gratefulness I have for you. You are such a loving person. At my place here, but the best strength for you to be the same to so many, so many beings. Yeah, a blessing for us to be brought to your feet. I don't know, for so many years, for so many decades, you know, that feeling of somehow not enough, not good enough, you know, was there. And whatever practices I could not, I could never get it right, you know, could never do it right. So all those things that you read, but I still resist and there are some resistances that work. I trust, I just... I'm in good hands and I just mean very, very thankful, very thankful Father. And Father, last time you blessed me, I prayed that you know, I can come to Satsang really, and you blessed me and then this lockdown happened.

Ananta

That's almost a blessing. It's a beautiful report because surrender doesn't always play out the way we think it will. So happy to see you. If you want to see what... then those who come up, if you could put your hands down, then that makes it easier for me. John is here, John can come.

Seeker

Hello, can you hear me? Yes, my dear. I feel so blessed to be with you. This is my second Satsang and I mentioned to Paliku who sent me the link that I found it very nourishing, just your presence. I really don't need to do anything else, I just invite the beautiful presence that you have and there's such a sense of compassion that emanates from you that I just feel my ego dissolving in that. And that's so beautiful. I mean, I don't understand devotion in any other way than this, to just surrender to this love that we emanate. And it really made my life beautiful even in these few Satsangs that I've attended, and my heart is filled with gratitude and joy to be with you. But really, it's really so beautiful.

Ananta

Oh, thank you. Thank you for sharing. Happy Guru Purnima. Thank you. So happy to see you in this way. So much love, so much love always. Okay, then Ambika can come.

Seeker

We don't hear you so well, my dear. For everything, see, there has been every word you've spoken has lifted me each time. It gave me the courage to really see things this way. Grateful. And today I want a blessing that I am able to come to see you very soon. There's no other desire than to just be there. And you spoke about surrender; I really feel right now it's so much more alive, it's so much more present.

Ananta

I feel like also looking forward to you being here. Thank you, my dear. I know how that is going to be possible, I don't know, we'll see how it goes. All blessing is there for that. I have come to your place once, but I do remember that time. I will never forget that time because that was the day when all Mooji's pointings actually clicked and you were guiding.

Seeker

I desire then to just be there, and you've spoke about surrender. I really feel right now it's so much more alive; it's so much more present. I feel like also looking forward to you being here.

Ananta

Thank you, my dear. I know how that is going to be possible. I don't know, we'll see how it goes. All blessing is there for that.

Seeker

I have come to your place once, but I do remember that time. I will never forget that time because that was the day when all Mooji's pointings actually clicked. And you were guiding us in a meditation, and that is when I connected with all the pointings that Mooji has been pointing us to. And in that moment, it clicked for me. It was a life-changing moment for me, and I'm really thankful for that. I will never forget that day when I attended. I only came once, but it was life-changing. And thank you, lovable. Thank you to the Sangha for organizing this.

Ananta

I'm very glad to hear this report because I hope my Father's grace continues to use this instrument called Ananta this way. Thank you, thank you. Ananta is next. Ya, Pranam.

Seeker

Pranam, Father. Namaste. First and all, I want to say is just thank you. Actually, whatever else I say, it actually also means thank you because there is nothing else to expect. I don't express so much, but it's always—I hope you get my expression because there is nothing else than thanks. Your presence in my life is just... you are doing, actually, irrespective of what I think or what I want. You have come to my life, you know, without any effort from my side, you know, any even desire from my side. So it's so wonderful and it's, you know... so I would like to express my thousand-fold thanks on this occasion of Guru Purnima. Thank you very much.

Ananta

Thank you. He's so happy to hear you all today. Then Buzz... okay, there's some more. Jyoti, my dear, I could hear you now, my dear.

Seeker

Mooji, yes, yes. Koti Koti Pranam at your lotus feet. So much gratitude and love for your presence, Guruji. Please continue to bless. Thank you for everything, Daddy. So much love.

Ananta

I've given them my highest pointing, which is just chill. Thank you, thank you so much. Johanna is here. You should be able to hear you, my dear.

Seeker

Hello, and say hello on here. And thank you so, so, so, so very much, and for all of your love and your guidance and your there being introduced to you. And yeah, so very, very grateful. Yeah, love you very much and love to everyone as well.

Ananta

It's always a great joy to see both of you, lovable. Thank you very much. Oh, blessed to be at Parvati's place at this time in Guru Purnima. You're there. Such a great blessing. Okay, get up and come.

Seeker

Oh, my love, oh, my gratitude to you. And thank you so much, thank you so much. Like, I cannot find many words, but I'm on all my love. It's not at your feet. And thank you for saving his life. Love it so much.

Ananta

All my love, all my love to you too, my dear. Hello, Father.

Seeker

Hello. Thank you so much, Father. I'm waiting to see you there. Thank you so much. I just want to show you something. I've boarded it, this train. Oh yes, thank you so much, Father. And whenever I go back to person, I hate this. Thank you for your presence, Father. Thank you so much. Your holy feet always.

Ananta

Thank you, thank you. I love that. I love this, this board, the Guru Purnima, everything else. Okay, then Meows and Selena, hopefully.

Seeker

Oh, my dear, can you see me? Yeah, okay. Maybe keep going, then it comes on, comes in front actually. So wonderful that you came to my life, and I don't know how it happened, and it changed my life so wonderfully. And I am so grateful for that. I am so, so grateful. And that, I don't know how to thank you for that. And Selena also wants to come, but she gets good with you, need some work. She also wants to say thanks to you, thanks to all Sangha. Thank you, thank you.

Ananta

Yeah, so happy to see you and hear from both of you in a way. Thank you, thank you so much. Then Deep is there.

Seeker

Namaste, Father. Namaste, Guruji. I mean, good to see you. I mean, I'm as usual lost for words, of course. But I mean, thank you for this life. Why don't I... I just don't have anything to say with... but did you go mute? Namaste. But I mean, why are you always with me, Father? I mean, if I, for every little thing I do, it's... it's always been your pointings and you making this expression aware of what it is. And more so in the recent times, your pointings have been like deepening even. Like everything that arises in the mind has been, you know, you know, privy to my scrutiny. And it's like, you know, yeah. And even the every concept of even being happy, being sad, being everything is dissolving, Father. I don't know where to begin saying this, but everything is aware. And more importantly, it's just the body that is feeling it, like, you know, in sensation, in whatever expression it wants to. But Father, thank you. I mean, I don't know, seeing you like, like this itself is blessing for me right now. And yeah, thank you, thank you so much. But I'm always at your feet.

Ananta

Well, thank you. It's like sir, I love you so much, Deep. So much, Father. Okay, then Shubham. I'm sorry, one time. This is working? Yes, should be. Hello, can you hear me?

Seeker

Okay, not great with... all right, yes. Now, yes, better. Yes, yeah. I just wanted to say hello and thank you, and I love you so much. And may all the resistance and all the doubts... I surrender everything at your feet, Father.

Ananta

I like the hair. Okay, so they can come.

Seeker

Hello, happy, happy Guru Purnima, Ananta. And lovely to be here, and thank you so much for everything. Absolute lifesaver. Thank you, my dear. Love to you. Love you so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. Love you so, so, so much. Thank you. It's no secret that I'm always looking forward to your next visit here. Thank you so much. And to all the Sangha, too, thank you for organizing this. So beautiful.

Ananta

Thank you. Now share one, seven. Think about it once. No, thank you, thank you, Father, for making this life some... but as a good Father, drinking. I just want to thank you.

Ananta

Thank you, my dear. And hope the body's health is okay. It's better. Love you so much. Then Shubham.

Pranam, Father. So just before you start, one of us is on Sahaja Express and again Guruji comes, then we will just say bye to everyone and maybe I don't get to hear, but if you could type out the rest and depending on when Guruji comes, we will, we will close the session for today. But you're welcome to share now, my dear.

Seeker

I love you so much, Father. I love you so, so, so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything.

Ananta

So, my dear, you lost a lot of weight. Yeah, been a hectic couple of months at work. Yeah, no, Father, absolutely opposite. Yeah, but it's been good. It's been really good, your grace. Okay, Nanda and I.

Seeker

Hi, Father. Namaste. Hello. I say a big Guru Purnima, Father. Thank you. Thanks for you, thanks for coming into my life. I have absolutely no idea what this is happening. Everything is Moh Maya, and because I'm with you, I think I can sustain it. Otherwise, I don't know where I would have landed myself. Thank you, love you.

Ananta

Thank you. So happy to see you, my dear. All my love, all my love always. Okay, Miguel. Miguel.

Seeker

Thank you. Hello, Father. Such a blessing to be so many years at your feet, and million words to express my gratitude for all these years together. Thank you, also the Sangha for the support and the pointings that you are always giving to us. Thank you, thank you so much. Thank you, my dear. I love you so much.

Ananta

Miguel has been with us for many years, and his background has been the same for all those years. The books have always been there. I see. Thank you. Okay, those who've come on, you can just lower your hand so it's easier for me. Then... oh, is there? Presently to hear. Come, my dear.

Seeker

I wanted to say Pranam to you on this auspicious occasion, and it really is. It's a blessing for us to have you with us, and I just want to thank you for everything. You know, I just want to thank you for the love and the teachings, and I hope to, you know, to be, to be with you always. Thank you so much.

Ananta

Thank you for nothing. Thank you, thank you. All my love to you and family, mom, dad, everyone.

Seeker

Yes, everybody is fine. We're all good here. Yes, and I just want to thank you from everyone's side. Yes, thank you, thank you. Love you, my dear.

Ananta

Thank you. Come. Oh, yeah, yeah. Can you hear me? Just few words for you and the Sangha.

Seeker

Yes, I'm so close to you even far away. And thank you so much for your love. Thank you so much. Here is my heart, Father. Thank you so much.

Ananta

Thank you. Love you so much. Okay, then where could I go?

Seeker

You... I always carried you in my heart as my Father supreme, my Param Pita, Paramatma, my Antaryami, my Param Parameshwar, my Swami, everything. Where could I go? There was, there is no other place to go. I'm just a stupid child, that's all, Father. I have no words to express my gratitude for you because I really create you as my Father supreme. I mean, what more words can... you know, I am a devotee of God. There is no way, I mean, you can leave me from my heart. Impossible. So Father, I would like to sing in glory of Bhagwan, when I marry he just, you know, few lines. You know, I cannot stop my tears when I visit Ramana Ashram and including the supreme. Yeah, I want the whole cosmos to join me in the glorifying the God. I invite the whole cosmos, all beings, inanimate, animate, in all realms of life. Please join me in the glory of the God. I have no words to express my gratitude and my faith and trust and my love for you. And just stupid, that's all. Thank you very much. Thank you very, very much. Infinitely always at your feet. Thank you so, so, so much. Thank you so much. I mean, I can keep on saying thank you till the eternity of the time. So much gratitude.

Ananta

Okay, Rita, you put your hand up again. Oh yes, Mother, please.

Seeker

But can I first ask your blessings for me to come back to Bangalore? Possible blessings for that? Can I sing a song offered to your holy feet and to the... sorry, Mother, you can sing that. Okay, migoo, I don't know. Oh my gosh, wanna hear it.

Ananta

Our beloved Gurudev, thank you. What an appropriate way to end the session today. And Guruji has arrived at his seat. So all my love, all my blessings, all blessings to all of you. Thank you so much for joining us at time today. Satguru Sri Mooji Baba Kevalam. Love you all so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
