in satsang we keep emphasizing the fact that do not leave this world basically don't die without coming to god do whatever else you have to do in your life but this part for which your soul is designed where is it possible really to have a meeting with god we must not waste this opportunity to be in god's presence to meet god that is the core premise of satsang so when we say pray or when we say self -inquiry or when we say remember god it is so that our soul becomes fertile for that holy meeting with god so when mama is saying i have to pray i have to remember his name it is so that she can come to the meeting with god she can remain in that holy place where the meeting with god happens because what happens is that the art so it's like this tumbler like this cup let's presume it's a cup so i can fill this up with nimbu paani or i can fill it up with coca -cola or i can fill it up with whiskey i can fill it up with whatever so so our soul is like that if we fill it up with ego if me me me is ego then it's filled with that right so let's say for a moment that ego is like whiskey so you fill it up with this intoxicant called the me which is like whiskey then there is no space left in the cup anymore to put god in or to meet god so our attempt in satsang is to remove selfishness is to remove pride is to remove egotism and to make ourselves available to god in in the way of love kindness peace compassion humility all the good quality and those who are attempting to come to this holy meeting naturally their their soul's quality it changes it goes from selfishness to love it goes from conflict to peace it goes more and more towards kindness so so all of it is so that we can fulfill what we feel is the highest purpose of our existence which is the possibility of meeting god himself while being alive in this in this life that is really the crux of what we are doing in satsang
