Why would saints across the world propagate this if it were delusion?

Why did they speak about these things? Were they trying to do a fearful control? Were they trying to do get some power over the people? Not say it is like a bg. Not say it is like Guru Nanaji. Not say it is like Namirabi. Not say it is like Saint Teresa of Avalas. Saint Teresa of Lizzou. So I feel like it is very, very natural to want to run away from all of this. I have myself ran away from all of spirituality because I did not agree with religion at all. But I am not able to resolve this question of why it is across the world. Let us, if this was a delusion, why would they propagate this delusion when they were so right about everything else? I mean they also said all the things about what comes next.
