God is the ultimate giver

So God is the ultimate giver. Our life is His, our love is His, our heart is His, everything is His. He has only given it to us. Even if we were to say there is a Him in us, He has only given everything to us. He is the ultimate giver. Now to presume that I know what I want want better than what he has given me. Is that not pride? I know what I want or what I should have more or different from what he has given me. Could that be anything other than pride. We don't know anything at all. And yet we know what our life should be.
