Spirituality mostly talks experiences; Atma is the deeper knowledge

How many in spirituality actually talk about perceptual and conceptual knowledge? Mostly in spirituality we are talking about experiences. All we are talking about concepts that we have picked up from scriptures or teachers. Nobody is talking about the deeper knowledge. It is Atma, which is spiritual knowledge.
