Your Discovery is that You are without any Reference
Your true nature is awareness without any reference point - the discoverer discovers there is nothing to find, only the limitless I Am that needs no object.
In The Expression Of Surrender There Is Grace Reminds me of this story that we heard in childhood. This boy is being told about God, told about God and he is walking on the beach. [Smiles] So the metaphor is ‘the walking on the beach’. And, he looked back and saw that there are always two sets of footsteps. Because God is always walking with you. Now, there were certain times where he looked back and he saw that there were only one set of footsteps. So, then he said, ‘How come there is only one and these are the most difficult times. In the most difficult times you left me?’ [Smiles] Then God said, ‘No, these are the times in which I carried you.’ That is why only God’s footsteps were there. This is very beautiful in that way. So, when we say ‘Guru Kripa Kevalam’, we can trust that Grace to carry us. As long as the feeling of the ‘me’ and ‘other’ is there and even then (in) our expression of surrender brings a lot of poise to the situation, brings a lot of Grace to any situation. This is very good.
