Whose Problems Are These?

2023-03-31|2:25-11:32|Watch on YouTube

Ananta invites us to question whether the problems we carry truly belong to us, revealing that identification itself creates the suffering we experience.

And when you are convinced that some problem is real you can ask - For whom, who is this problem about? And if you look at your last ten problems (you will struggle to remember actually, also the last ten problems) but if you look at your last few problems you will see that at best, one or two were about this body. So, and the state of the body again is problem for whom? Whose problems are these? They don’t belong to the One that you are recognizing, that you are finding. Now your only problem is that you have no problem. You just feel like ‘But how can I live like that?’ All of you are Aware of your Self. There is no how in that. There is no why in that. There is no when in that. You just are. Aware of Awareness itself. You are Aware of your Self without any need for any experience or any conceptual knowledge.

Key Teachings

  • Problems are not as solid or personal as they appear to be
  • The question 'whose problems are these?' reveals the assumption of ownership we make about suffering
