Surrender to God

So, these are some verses about loving God. [Reading Contemplation – 42 from 2023-01-13] „Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.“ So, what's important here is not to try and figure out, okay, this is my heart, this is my soul. Don't worry about the nomenclature. With whatever you have at your disposal, love God. Surrender to God, follow God's love. There is nobody in this universe who cannot find this love. Where this Being is, this love is found to be. Just get the scent, fully just fall in love in this way. Because this falling is the actual transcending, is the actual leading behind the realm of the false. The next one says: „And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strenght.“ „But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.“ This is beautiful because to love God is to, of course the verses are saying it differently, but I'm saying it first, to love God is also to know God. And then in most of the world we feel that we are alienated from God, God does not know us, how can he be listening to seven billions of us constantly praying to him, and this kind of thing. But it is not like that. He is the author of this story. Every character and every move of that character is fully known to God. So, never feel that you're alienated from the true light. Your existence itself is that Light. You cannot exist without God. One [of the verses] says: „But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.“ This one says: „You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.“ The last one: „I love you Lord, my strenght. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; in him I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.“ The last one is a beautiful description of the planet of the Heart. Living in God's light, being in love with God, we are fully secure and unburdened. [Silence] Your very Presence, your very Being is worthy of love. This is the antidote to fear, because the mind is full of fear. It says, „What will happen, if you don't do your workshop well? You could go and everybody realizes you're a fool. You don't know any of this. What will happen?“ Nothing will happen. Nothing will happen in Reality. It is only the self-image that we may want to hold up, that we may want to live up to other's expectations of us because we don't want them to think badly about us. Let go of all of that. One child says: [Reading from the chat] „Fear of rejection and not living in God's light fully. Body feeling Hred and heavy“. Let us see if it is really possible to disconnect from God. So, the body is fully Hred – I can relate to that, here also the body is feeling very Hred. So the body is Hred, then, what else? „Everybody hates us, the Master also doesn't care about me“. What else, what is the worst case scenario? All our relationships are in a mess, I have no money in the bank. The body we talked about anyway. Freedom seems like a far cry. It seemed that you were here some time, but now as I really look, where is God, where is Freedom? It seems too distant. This is the worst case. But, even in this case are you here. You have to be here to even report all of this, experience all of this. That You is God's Presence. Now, escape that. Escape that. Any of us who feel like we are not finding God? Try to leave God instead. Escape the Presence, that which is here [pointing to the heart]. Say, go away. I don't want you. You don't be here. Can we do it? Anyone succeeded? So, true God we can never leave. But the God that we want, we can never have. True God we can never leave. A true God can never leave us. But the God that we want, we can never have. Because the God that we want has a 'me' involved. And you just feel like „I am going to make this happen one way or the other. I will have tantrums, I will be angry, I will do everything possible to have it my way and God will come to me in my way.“ It just doesn't happen. It's just not possible. So, it's not the one that you want which is gone. The one that you already are is gone. What is it that you already are? That is worth exploring more. Then, what is happening, what is not happening? And if you keep making determinations about our progress or the lack of it, based on what we are perceiving of the world, which includes this body, then we are just using the wrong instrument to track. And that is what I want to shake all of you out from. Some of you are like, you maybe don't realize, but you are super stubborn. Super stubborn. This is like „I will have it this way“ [chuckles]. And then you try every single thing to have it that way. But I'm pointing you to That which is so much greater than that which you could ever want. Take every idea you have of utopia, like the ideal situation that you want in your life, take that and you say „Father, give me that gie because that is the highest“. But I will not give you that gie because that is not the highest. The highest is That which is what you already have. [Silence] I wonder if I'm getting through on this point. It's very straigh{orward, and yet it can seem very subtle. We can have an idea of what is the highest for us. „If this were to happen, then this would be my Nirvana“. And I've seen so many that exactly those things happened, whether it is at work, whether it is in spirituality. And yet you realize that it was just something like a figment of our mind, and you feel like „What can be better than that?“. You can. Your Heart can, and is. So, tell me, is it all confusing? Because we feel like we have an idea about what it means to have God or find God, because we are spiritual. And you may say, okay but I can see that, I can see this one, he has like that, or she is like that, or Ananta is like this – none of that you can fathom. Because this is just in the realm of perception. In whose light is that perception shining? Who is here, independent of what you want or don't want, or what you think you have or don't have and what you're finding or not finding? How well you're doing or not doing? Let go fully. Fully let go. It will not come in the trajectory that you have defined for yourself. It will not come in that trajectory that we have defined for ourselves. It is not an upward movement. It is a retreat into sheer innocence and simplicity, like an infant. That is why you can never determine your spiritual progress. Because it is only the Satguru Presence within you that can guide you. I was telling another child the other day, their mind pushes them, convinces them that they are a failure. So I said to him that you must accept that you are the biggest loser in this world. Then the mind cannot blackmail you. You are failing? Yes! You are never gonna get it? Yes! Big, unworthy loser. Yes. Then? Accept. Now what? All these scare tactics, fear tactics from the mind then lose their potency. Otherwise we keep dancing to their tunes. And it is worse for those of you, many times it is worse for those of you who had spiritual experience, spiritual insight. Because we want to do with that what we try and do with things of the world, which is to try to own it and keep it. But we never can. We never can do it. So, you must first be humble enough to accept that you don't know what is [inaudible]. The minute you start to know it only causes trouble. The minute you start to know it only causes trouble. Without knowing, now what is your project lee? All the world can throw at me, make this body Hred, it may kill it. It will kill it one day. It can mess up every relationship. All the loved ones can go. All the material comfort can go. And there may be nothing which is seen in this world ever again. Imagine it may just be like a limbo, like the solitary confinement of a prison. Even in all of that nothing can take away God. Nothing ca take away God from you, when God is really what you want. I've not said any of this is going to happen. But, what a beautiful life: All this may happen, but I have God. I have God.
