Just What Is, Is Enough
When we stop grasping for more and simply allow what is to be, we discover that the present moment holds everything we need.
So fundamentally, I am just saying that ‘Don’t try and apply any ploy or tactic, become completely naked of any of these tools (and) tricks.’ Just…what is, is enough. [It] Doesn’t need Being to take a position as this way or that way, whichever that way might be. It is just the same old delusion of the taking itself to be the limited. Neither this, nor that, nor either, nor both. It is not in that device of these positions anyway. It has nothing to do with that. I know it can seem a bit strange, because if you are just used to seeing the world through your eyes (and) then somebody come and says ‘no, no, what you are seeing though your eyes, is not It.’ What to say, what is a good metaphor? What you are smelling through your toes is your reality. [Smiles] It can seem a bit like that. Because we have looked at everything through the eyes of our intellect and suddenly you come to Satsang where we say ‘All our translation, all our intellectual translation, mental translation of what is, is not It.’ Just in your ‘Being’ or that which is aware of even ‘Being’ is It. You will feel like ‘But, how does that translate through my intellect?’ You know (if I say) ‘You cannot see it through your eyes, you can only smell it through your toes.’ You will feel like ‘But how can I translate that in to my experience?’ or something like that. [Smile] So because we got so used to translating it in these position, then we feel that what is the better position to take? Is it this or that? It does not apply to either of these. So it can feel a bit strange. It is something which is not computable. It is not figure-out-able.
