How To Distinguish Between the Mind and Intuitive Guidance?
Intuitive guidance arises from love, peace and Presence without rush or grasping, while mind creates rushing, grasping representations including the black space - investigate with 'Who is aware?'
How to distinguish between the mind and an intuitive guidance? So, [The] first is the representation itself, you see, the representation itself. But sometimes that can seem a bit tricky so I will give you some more Hps. So, if it is in a rush, it is the mind. If it is [trying to get] something out of it, if it is trying to grasp something, even if it is subtly grasping but still it wants something, it is still the mind. If you experience the Presence of love, if you experience the Presence of Presence itself, peace If there is no rush in the guidance If it is not saying ‘you must do like that.’ If it is not pushing you. It is just natural, natural and it feels like it can wait for lifetimes; it is really in no rush then that voice is your intuitive-guidance.
Okay, thank you.
You are welcome.
One more thing you always mention this thing like black, black-space. What exactly is that? Because I just get stuck into that aeer that nothing comes.
Acha, acha (yes, yes) when I say oeen that the mind will give you a representation and of this black empty space and it will be… It will pose as if that is Awareness itself, big black…
Yeah…
But you can just ask yourself ‘Who is Aware of that?’ Is that empty space; is that like an empty dark room? So just use that inquiry ‘Who is aware even of that dark empty space?’
Key Teachings
- Mind operates through rush, grasping, and pushing ('you must do like that'), while intuitive guidance comes from Presence with no rush, no grasping, and feels natural - it can wait for lifetimes
- The black empty space that appears in meditation is a mind-made representation posing as Awareness; use the inquiry 'Who is aware of that dark empty space?' to investigate its nature
