जो मेरो अवगुन उरधारो। तौ मिथिलेशनंदनी स्वामिनि कोटिकल्प नहिं मोर उधारो॥ कौनसी कृया कीन्ह मैं नाहीं यह संसार असार पनारो। वेदबिदित यह बिरद तिहारो सीतासीतांकित नाम बिचारो॥ जो ब्रह्माण्ड कोटि को नायक प्रीतम रामश्याम छविभारो। तबवस रहत सदा सो पिय नायक रसिक शिरोमनि छवि मतवारो॥ यह जिय देखि पेखि प्रभुता निज नातो मिथिला ओर निहारो। रूप अनूप शीलगुन सीमा दासी युगलप्रिया न बिसारो॥

If you hold my faults in your heart, mistress and daughter of Mithila's lord, I will not be delivered in millions of ages. What practice have I not tried in this insubstantial world? Your fame is known to the Veda; consider the name marked again and again by 'Sita.' Dark, beautiful Rama, lord of millions of universes and crown of rasikas, remains always under your power. Seeing your sovereignty and my own bond, turn toward Mithila. Limit of incomparable form, character and virtue, do not forget your servant Yugalapriya.
