लखु भामिनि भली यामिनी शरद की। श्रीसरयू तट रासकुंजमणि मंडल कंचन भूमि जरद की॥ तन्यो बितान श्वेत जरकस की फरस बिछे बहु लाई की। रास रच्यो प्रीतम रघुनन्दन सिय प्यारी सुख बिमल हरद की॥ अलिगन बिपुल बिचित्र मंडली साज काम रति मान मरद की। युगलप्रिया छवि लखत बिरहिनी लगन लग्यो याते सों नरद की॥
Fresh English translation
Lady, behold the beautiful autumn night. On Shri Sarayu's bank the jewelled rasa-circle rests upon glittering golden ground. A white brocade canopy is stretched and many fine carpets spread. Beloved Raghunandana forms the rasa dance with dear Siya, its joy stainless as autumn. The companions compose many wondrous circles that humble Kama, Rati and pride itself. Seeing this beauty, separated Yugalapriya's longing grows keener than Narada's.
