Fresh English translation

They travel by chariot to Sarayu's bank: rasika Mithila's daughter and rasika Shri Raghuvira. It is Ashadha's first month; three kinds of monsoon wind blow, proud clouds surge and their deep thunder spreads. Dark and fair limbs wear flower-coloured cloth and gem-set ornaments. Green sections of ground set with gold look like emerald; dense green trees rise while birds and parrots call sweetly. Innumerable companions sing accomplished melodic phrases on every side. Yugalapriya descends from the chariot and worships with the mind's water.
