Fresh English translation

Victory to incomparable Shri Chandrakala: exquisitely tender, a treasury of beauty and virtue, urbane and elephant-gaited. Born in Nimi's line, she joins dear Siya in love's play; she is Chandraprabha's daughter, a fresh vine entwined around the wish-fulfilling tree. She sports amid the waves of play in Kanchanavana, Kamala and Pramodavana, calling on her enchanting vina until the Beloved's mind is enthralled. Protector of those who seek refuge, garlanded in rasa and stately in movement, she is for Yugalapriya the perpetual branch of loving relationship.
