Who can glare angrily toward one who trusts in every way the monkey, young son of Kesari? (1) Who else delights devotees, destroys hosts of foes and breaks the faces of overbearing villains? Whose prowess is manifest in Veda and Purana, and who else is the crest-jewel of every warrior? (2) Who else establishes the dispossessed, dispossesses the established by his vow, and frees hosts of gods from bondage? Who crossed the ocean, burned Lanka and crushed the immense strength of dreadful demons? (3) Remembering whose childhood play, the morning sun still fears within his heart? The blow of whose chin pulverized the pride of the hard thunderbolt's teeth? (4) Whose favorable sidelong glance do the guardians of the worlds desire? Whoever serves that clamorous hero of battle is forever fearless, victorious, joyful and auspicious. (5) Rama's name is the wish-fulfilling tree of devotees, and he is the chakor bird of that perfectly full moon. Tulsi says that as he sings the restorer's fame, all four fruits lie in his palm. (6)
