[98] Fortunate lovers behold trees bearing five-coloured flowers, fruit, and tender leaves in every season. [99] When will Yugalānanya, as a bee among those trees and vines, see Rasarāja sweetly adorned and rejoice? [100] Divine maidens of heavenly realms and Nāga princesses gather, along with royal daughters and loving cowherd girls. [101] All the residents of Mithilā—dear companions, attendants, and maidservants of Sītā Svāminī—are filled with rasa and happiness. [102] The companions joyfully dress Lalī and Lāla limb by limb in excellent clothes and ornaments fit for rāsa. [103] The Couple, mines of beauty outshining countless suns and moons, sit upon the jeweled throne. [104] Every group, lovingly prepared in its own array, begins graceful singing and melody before the abodes of virtue. [105] Acting, expression, lucid sight, vīṇā playing, varied movements, and high, low, and middle notes give pure joy. [106] The companions dance their restless eyes in every direction, delight the Young Couple, and receive love's reward. [107] When shall I mingle among that dear retinue in supreme joy and gain play free of alternatives? [108] Seeing ardour in the attendants' hearts, Lalī and Lāla delight in sweet, charming song and graceful dance.
