विशद-विनोद-विहार-हित उपवन सखिन समेत ॥ सुमन सुफल निरखत कबहुँ लखिहौं मोद-निकेत ॥८७॥ हास-हुलास-उमंग उर गौर-श्याम अभिराम ॥ हरित पीत तरु सघन तर कब लखिहौं छवि-धाम ॥८८॥ सरस सिकार-बिहार-रस राज-रंग-अनुकूल ॥ अंग-अंग आलिन विंध्यो तकि ह्वैहौं भव-भूल ॥८९॥ रोम-रोम पुलकाइहौं ललित विनोद विलोकि ॥ मधुर वचन-पीयूष प्रिय सुनिहौं चित-श्रुति रोकि ॥९०॥ सुभग सुमनमालाभरन नख-शिख प्रिय पहिराय ॥ अम्बरक अमल अनूप फल कब लहिहौं नियराय ॥९१॥ साँझ समै श्रीसदन-मधि सुखमानिधि युग रूप ॥ कबहुँ हेरिहौं हरन-हिय सजि जिय जोक अनूप ॥९२॥ गान-तान-सुखखान दुतिदार आरती मोद ॥ भोग-राग-उत्साह लखि हृदै विपुल विनोद ॥९३॥ रासकुंज कमनीय शुभ सोम श्रवन वट-तीर ॥ रत्नाचल सरयू-पुलिन निकट रसन गंभीर ॥९४॥ महा-मोद-मंदिर-रहस अकथ-अनूप-अजूब ॥ शरद शशी शत-सहस-सम सतत प्रकाश सुसूब ॥९५॥ फरस-फनूस-जलूस सब मनिमय दीप-पदीप ॥ ललित लता दश दिशि लसी नहि अति दूर-समीप ॥९६॥ नवल निकुंजन की कहाँ परमा कहौं निहारि ॥ लागत लघु बैकुण्ठ-वर-विपिन-विभव बलिहारि ॥९७॥
Fresh English translation
[87] When shall I see the Couple, abodes of joy, inspect flowers and fruit with companions in the pleasure-garden? [88] Beneath dense green and yellow trees I shall behold fair and dark, beautiful and laughing with ardour. [89] Watching the attendants pierce every limb in the royal colour of relishable hunting-play, I shall forget the world. [90] Every pore shall thrill as I see lovely sport and arrest mind and ears to hear the Beloved's nectar-words. [91] I shall dress the Beloved from head to toe in lovely flower garlands and gain the matchless fruit of nearness. [92] At evening in the sacred residence I shall behold the Couple, treasure of beauty and unique thief of the heart. [93] Seeing radiant ārati, song, melody, offering, rāga, and ardour, the heart fills with play. [94] The charming rāsa-bower stands near Sarayū's sands, Ratnācal, and the sacred Vaṭa. [95] That secret temple of great joy is ineffable and wondrous, shining like a hundred thousand autumn moons. [96] Jeweled floors, lamps, chandeliers, and processional lights glow while lovely vines shine in ten directions. [97] What comparison can describe the fresh bowers? Even Vaikuṇṭha's splendid forest appears small beside them.
