Fresh English translation
[32] When shall I joyfully watch their radiant teeth flash in the tooth-cleansing bower, bringing delight to the attendants' minds? [33] Seeing the charming fair and dark, firmly embodied treasures of joy in the midst of the companions, I shall drink my fill and surrender my life. [34] Śrī Beloved and Dear One, awakened and joyful among the graceful companions, go with swanlike gait to the bathing bower. [35] When will my heart grow uniquely restless with beautiful longing eyes, losing taste for worldly and Vedic gardens and receiving love's excellent guise? [36] The incomparable bathing place is lovely and delightful; seeing its beauty, poets stand amazed and their good minds are helplessly enchanted. [37] Amid lovely halls, pleasant pools, and green trees and vines on every side, I shall behold the Young Couple arranging beautiful play. [38] When shall I see the mine of happiness—Lalī and Lāla bathing with beautiful garlands, dear retinue, clusters of play, and graceful wonders? [39] Ah, on what blessed day will my eyes see the fresh love-filled pool, its graceful wonder beyond mind and speech, and offer themselves countless times? [40] At the proper moment I shall clothe both beloved bodies in clean charming garments and fine ornaments, counting the eyes' enjoyment fulfilled. [41] When the lovely palanquin is prepared and the Couple seated, I shall fix my eyes upon their beauty and forget the pain of separation. [42] When shall my restless heart and eyes watch them enter the pure adornment-bower furnished by Śrī Sahacarī?
