दुतिनिधान दिलवर-दया अति अभयी जिय जानि ॥ जगत-जलूस जलाइहौं जिव प्रतिकूल पछानि ॥१०॥ जिमि मलीन मनमोद-पुत सुनत अपर उपहास ॥ रोमरोम तिमि पुलकि नित सुनिहौं गुन-वरास ॥११॥ कोटि कलाकर-रवि-सरित शीतल-तेज-निधान ॥ श्रीविमलाधिप-गुन-श्रवन सुनिहौं होय अमान ॥१२॥ श्रीकोशलपति-सदसुजस श्रागुरु-संतन-संग ॥ सुनि सुनि नेह-निवाहिहौं निदरि मनादिरू जंग ॥१३॥ हे विधि विरद विचारि चित वचन वदिय मम प्रीति ॥ कबहुँ नवल गुन अमल मघि लगिहै सहित प्रतीति ॥१४॥ सुन्दरता-माधुर्यता-सुकुमारता-सुवेष ॥ महामोदनिधि गुननमधि हैहौं मगन निमेष ॥१५॥ श्रीसीतापतिगुनगनन सुनि जैहौं गिर बीच ॥ युगलानन्य विहाय बहु वाद विषम मग मीच ॥१६॥ मोद-विनोद-निकेत श्रीसीतावर-गुन-गाथ ॥ श्रीगुरु-संतन से कबहुँ सुनिहौं होय सनाथ ॥१७॥ रम-जीवन-पीयूषपर प्रीनन घान प्रचार ॥ श्रीसाकेतपरेशगुन गैहौं वलित विचार ॥१८॥ श्रीसीतावर-गुन-अगुन-अनुभव वितरनहार ॥ करहूँ मन निर्मल सहित चितविहौं पति प्यार ॥१९॥ कबहुँ कीरति-कांति-मधि ह्वैहैं मम मन लीन ॥ पलमरहूँ न बिछोहिहैं उगै सुन्दर सर मीन ॥२०॥
Fresh English translation
[10] Knowing in the heart the radiant Beloved's utterly fearless compassion, I shall burn the world's pomp after recognizing it as hostile to the soul. [11] As a sullied son of delight is ridiculed by others, so every pore shall thrill when I continually hear the rain of excellent virtues. [12] Becoming humble, I shall hear the stainless Lord's virtues, a treasury of cool splendour greater than millions of moons, suns, and rivers of light. [13] In the company of Śrī Gurudeva and the saints, hearing again and again the good fame of Kosala's Lord, I shall sustain affection and disregard the mind's primal conflict. [14] O fate, consider your ancient reputation and speak my love aloud: when will it attach with faith to the fresh stainless virtues? [15] In a moment I shall become immersed among the qualities—beauty, sweetness, tenderness, and fine attire—a great treasury of joy. [16] Hearing the host of Śrī Sītā's Lord's virtues, I shall go into the mountain, abandoning numerous disputes and the harsh path of death, says Yugalānanya. [17] When shall I become protected and hear from Śrī Gurudeva and the saints the story of Śrī Sītā's Lord's virtues, an abode of joy and play? [18] I shall sing, wrapped in contemplation, the virtues of Sāketa's Lord—the nectar of Rāma's life and a dense spreading delight. [19] O distributor of experience of both the qualified and transcendent virtues of Śrī Sītā's Lord, make my mind pure so I may contemplate my beloved Master. [20] When will my mind be absorbed in the radiance of that fame and never separate even for an instant, like a lovely fish risen in its lake?
