चित्त-चोरावनि चारु चल चितवनि अविचल-बीज ॥ कब बिलोकिहैं ओर मम सबही भाँति पसीज ॥६५॥ रे मन अमन अमान ह्वै निरखु नैन सुख-खान ॥ सुख-समाधि पैहै अवस हरस-हिराय-हरान ॥६६॥ सुख-मयंक-कल-कौमुदी-प्रभा सुशीतल हीय ॥ कबहुँ फैलिहैं फबित गुन गुनि अंतर रमनीय ॥६७॥ बदन विचित्र वनज सतत संविकास रस-धाम ॥ लखि मन-मधुप मोहाइहै हो तन्मय वसु-याम ॥६८॥ अति अनूप विधु-वदन-बिच चित चखचारुचकोर ॥ एकटक हो कब लागिहैं निशिदिन नेह-हिलोर ॥६९॥ स्वच्छ सुधा-सर सुभग सुख मम मानस रसमीन ॥ मगन निरंतर रहै कब सजि सनेह-पन-पीन ॥७०॥ सुठि सुपलक प्रिय पक्ष भ्रू बंक कमान-समान ॥ बरुनी-बान-निशान नव नैन निरखि मस्तान ॥७१॥ सुषमा-भवन श्रवन कलित कुण्डल ललित समेत ॥ रमक-झमक-झूलन निरखि हैहौं कबहुँ अचेत ॥७२॥ मद्रे कलित कपोल मिलि महामोद मन देत ॥ युगलानन्यशरन-हृदै-हारी सब सुधि लेत ॥७३॥ भाल विशाल रसाल दिल देत कमाल जमाल ॥ तिलक चिलक चितवत सुमन करन हरन-हिय साल ॥७४॥ बंदी बेना बिंदुवर शीश सुमन सुखखान ॥ कबहुँ दृग भरि जोहिहौं जड़ित मनीन महान ॥७५॥
Fresh English translation
[65] When will those graceful moving glances, stealers of the heart and seeds of unwavering contemplation, melt in every way and turn toward me? [66] O mind, become desireless and humble and behold those eyes, mines of happiness; helplessly losing ordinary delight, you will gain the absorption of bliss. [67] When will the radiance of their virtues spread charmingly within, soothing the heart like the cool moonlight of the digit of the moon of joy? [68] Seeing the wondrous lotus-face, ever fully blossomed and an abode of rasa, the bee of the mind will become enchanted and remain absorbed all day. [69] When will the beautiful cakora-bird of my sight fix itself in the incomparable moon-face, gazing without blinking as waves of affection rise day and night? [70] When shall the rasa-fish of my mind remain forever immersed in that clear, lovely lake of nectar and joy, grown full by its vow of affection? [71] The fine beloved brows, curved like a bow above lovely eyelids, intoxicate one who sees the fresh eyes marked by the arrows of eyelashes. [72] When shall I lose consciousness seeing the charming earrings, adorning ears that are abodes of beauty, swing with a sparkling play of light? [73] Joined to the cheeks and ornamented by lovely curls, they give supreme joy to the mind; stealing the heart of Yugalānanya Śaraṇa, they take away every awareness. [74] The broad, delightful forehead grants the heart wondrous beauty; its shining tilaka, when seen, becomes a flower yet removes the heart's pain. [75] When shall I fill my eyes with the excellent jeweled bindī, forehead-ornament, and flower upon the head—mines of happiness?
