Fresh English translation
[43] Their lovely lotus-hands, auspicious abodes, are softly decorated with sweet henna; when will my mind merge into that colour, its other colours gone? [44] When shall I drink my fill of the lovely art of their bracelets, golden bangles, and ornaments reaching over the beloved hands? [45] Their excellent arms, extending to the knees and increasing the devotee's loving feeling, shine with ever-new mind-enchanting ornaments at every moment. [46] When will my life be purified by seeing those fine arms, with armlets and upper-arm bands of wondrous design, bearing bow and arrow? [47] Without the support of those sacred arms, neither mind nor understanding becomes fearless; when shall I take refuge there and naturally overflow with joy? [48] Seeing the graceful chin, with its beauty-spot that steals the moving gaze and heart, I shall rejoice and shower many-coloured flowers. [49] When fate unveils that day, my mind will become both moving and still amid the excellent blue-and-yellow beauty-spots and obtain every flavour of rasa. [50] Seeing the Young Couple's lovely, spotless cheeks, which pour forth a charming radiance and are wrapped in incomparable splendour, I shall find peace. [51] When shall I behold with overflowing feeling those sweet, mind-enchanting lips—the very form of genuine passion and rasa, incense that captures heart and sight? [52] Even the gleam of pomegranate seeds within a lotus bud cannot equal the beauty of their supremely incomparable, coloured, shining row of teeth. [53] May my awareness remain lovingly and consciously fixed upon those twice-born teeth; when will that adorned date arrive, so that the spirits of my mind settle there exhausted?
