Fresh English translation

[10] When will my eyes see the supremely radiant backs of their feet, despising the world's hundreds of sorrowful desires and crossing immeasurable darkness? [11] The reddish nail-radiance steals the mind and equals a hundred full moons; when will I behold its lovely polished delicacy and forget worldly existence? [12] That nail-light will fearlessly illumine the darkness filling my mind, its experienced brilliance joining longing like a witch's piercing bite. [13] When will the mind become entangled within that incomparable curve, never again to be untied, as though tied in an unbreakable knot? [14] Gazing upon the anklets, abode of love and poison to ordinary life, when will the Abode of Grace slay that life and give my enamoured mind joy? [15] While I behold the stainless beauty of their lovely toes with sweet ornaments, when will an age pass like a moment? [16] Hearing their divine sound, when will my jewel-like mind cling amid the ornaments of those stainless, lotus-soft, lovely feet and be watered with rasa? [17] When will my flower-like heart, firm in its resolve, remain forever caught in a single rasa amid the clear radiance of jeweled ornaments? [18] Beholding the adornment-colour of the Lord of rasikas, which subdues Love's pride, I shall rejoice and offer myself, leaving attachment to body and qualities. [19] Seeing with my eyes the incomparable radiance of the youthful Couple—mine of every art and abode of beauty and virtue—I shall sacrifice all family desires. [20] When will the bee of my mind abandon the snare of forest-poison and taste the abundant, tender, sweet nectar of the Couple's lotus feet?
