[41] When the ears hear the Name's lovely, joy-giving call, when will mind and body become helpless before its greatness? [42] When will all the outer and inner faculties become absorbed in the Name alone, so that I remain beyond mind and despise fabricated desires? [43] When will my mind become fulfilled and find its Lord by delighting with lovers of the Name, that dense love for Sītā's Beloved? [44] When will sweet love for the Name cling to me always, with the heart as firmly fixed as a miser upon wealth or a lover upon the beloved? [45] When will I understand the incomparable Name as a dark and gracious beloved, detach myself from universal desire, repeat it, and fall into the well of rasa? [46] When will I repeat in my heart through every period the delightful Name—dense love and a vessel of Sītā's affection—without a curtain of deceit or stain? [47] My mind will remain submerged in the incomparable beauty of the Name, always knowing supreme joy and never growing weary in any way. [48] Hearing the excellent fame of the Name, crown-jewel of names, and pondering its weightiest meaning, I shall sustain love night and day and abandon fruitless speech. [49] When will I behold with wonder my own stainless Name, lord of syllables and pervasive between conscious and insentient being, abandon crooked understanding, and find repose? [50] Understanding the jewel-like royal Name as the perennial savour of sacred bliss, I shall remember it even amid sorrow while gazing upon the feet of the Divine Couple. [51] When will attachment to the Name arise within, joined with irresistible longing, so that separation for even a moment makes me cast off the body like one whose arm has been severed?
