श्रीसीतारामाभ्यां नमः उज्ज्वल उत्कण्ठा-विलास नामोत्कण्ठा दोहा श्रीसुषमा-सुदमोदनिधि सब विधि रिधि-सिधि-दानि ॥ बन्दौं बोध विचित्र वरदायक गुरु गुणखानि ॥१॥ मंगल-मोद-प्रमोद सदु मूल बचन प्रिय पाय ॥ पद्म-पराग प्रणम्य नित रच्यो रहस दुतिदाय ॥२॥ श्रीसीतावल्लभ विमल विरद निवास सुखैन ॥ बन्दौं श्रीशितकंठ-पद अमल कमल सुद दैन ॥३॥ श्रीगणनायक गुणनिकर गिरा-ज्ञान-गतिदानि ॥ बन्दौं बाग विचित्र वर बीज युगल रसखानि ॥४॥ श्रीसिय-पिय-परिकर परम प्रेम प्रमोद-निवास ॥ चरन-नलिन नूतन नमो पूरक उर-अभिलास ॥५॥ उर-उसंग पूरन करन हिय-आभरन विचित्र ॥ बन्दौं सिय-पिय-पदपद्म सदन सुराग पवित्र ॥६॥ उज्ज्वल उत्कण्ठा सुमन संतत सब विधि होत ॥ कौन सुदिन दुति होत मम शुचि रुचि होत उदोत ॥७॥

Homage to Sītā and Rāma. The Play of Radiant Longing: Longing for the Name. [1] I bow to the guru, treasury of virtues, wondrous awakener and giver of boons, who bestows every prosperity and attainment and is a store of auspicious beauty and delight. [2] Having received the beloved foundational word, full of auspicious joy and gladness, I continually bow to the lotus-pollen and compose this radiant mystery. [3] I bow to the stainless lotus feet of holy Śitakaṇṭha, which give pure joy and dwell in the spotless glory of Sītā's Beloved. [4] I bow to Gaṇanāyaka, mass of virtues and giver of speech, knowledge, and the path; I bow to the wondrous seed of speech, a treasury of the Couple's rasa. [5] Homage to the ever-fresh lotus feet of Sītā and her Beloved and their retinue, abode of supreme love and delight, which fulfil the heart's longing. [6] I bow to the lotus feet of Sītā and her Beloved, the pure dwelling of beautiful attachment, which complete the heart's embrace and form its wondrous ornament. [7] Radiant longing flowers continually in every way. On what blessed day will its splendour arise, and my pure desire dawn?
