English Translation
Vitthal is real, and real is the practice that the saints have spoken of in their words. Real is one's own welfare, real is direct experience, and real is what the Vedas truthfully declare. Says Tuka, those who receive with genuine faith find the truth. Those who deal in falsehood do not know the secret.

In Plain Words
Vitthal is real. This practice is real, the practice the saints spoke of in their words. Your own welfare is real. Direct experience is real. What the Vedas truly declare is real. Tuka says: those who take it up with real faith receive the truth. Those who deal in falsehood do not know the secret.
What it means
Tukaram is drawing a single line through everything that matters and calling it real. Vitthal is real, the saints' instruction is real, one's own true good is real, and so is the firsthand experience that confirms it and the truth the Vedas declare. He is insisting that these are not opinions to weigh but facts to stand on. The test he names is faith: what you receive depends on what you bring, and the one who comes with genuine sincerity finds the truth, while the one who trades in pretense stays locked outside the secret.
Faith and Trust
The boldness of faith, steadfastness, and the security of trusting in God.
