English Translation
The old entanglement, thick and long-standing, has been cleared away. Whatever was spoken in vain has been set aside. The common account has been settled; the old transactions are finished. Says Tuka, O God, accept whatever service I offer.

The old tangle, heavy and built up over many days, has been cleared. It has been arranged so that I need not speak; all that was useless is set aside. The matter was settled before witnesses; the old dealings are finished and done. Tuka says: O God, now accept whatever service I do.
What it means
Tukaram speaks of his long bondage as a debt finally cleared, using the language of accounts and disputes. The entanglement of worldly attachment, thick and grown over many years, has been resolved, and with it goes all the pointless arguing he need no longer take part in. He pictures the settlement as done openly, with witnesses, the old transactions struck off the books for good. With that burden gone, only one thing is left for him: he offers himself to God in service and asks that whatever small service he gives be accepted.
